i have lost so much of my hearing. the senior severe is great. i dont need the tv vol up all the way, lucky i dont live in a conjest area so neighbors arent distrubed when i have loud radio or music. i am happy with this product and have boughten several times. my only complaint is the sensor tube bends close and no sound then breaks oh yes forgot. with i remove tube to clean the internal black screw in inside aide breaks in half. aide is great but attachments need attention.

I bought these hearing amplifiers hoping to help a family member with severe hearing loss, but they have been a complete waste of money. The supposed "noise cancellation" is non-existent; in fact, it seems to amplify everything equally, making background noises unbearable and confusing. The sound it produces is tinny and of very poor quality. Furthermore, the device constantly generates a high-pitched whistling sound (feedback), no matter how we adjust it or the volume level. It's impossible to use. The volume controls are tiny and very difficult for an elderly person to operate. I do not recommend this at all, especially for someone with severe hearing loss.
