Total. Complete. Garbage. Bait & Switch - You think you'll buy this scanner and it will actually work. That couldn't be further from the Truth - Not only is it incredibly slow, it misses codes and makes up codes. Additionally, ANYTHING YOU ACTUALLY NEED ACCESS TO (for actual maintenance, updates, etc.) is locked behind a $90 paywall for "Pro" access or $200 for "Ultimate access". (There are some garbage "apps" (none of them actually work) that you'd still end up spending money for "credits" to attempt to utilize). Total garbage. I bought one of these a few years ago, had a good experience. Got this one for the update, and it's total garbage. BUY REAL TOOLS.

I've wasted money on inexpensive scanners before: none of them worth anything. This one costs a good bit more but works quite well and with the app it's useful in tracking down even intermittent problems with it's live data

Awesome scan tool. Used it on my Audi S3 has so many usable features and easy to use.

Installation doesn't complete on SFD vehicle (2026 SQ8) Very frustrating and time consuming installation, confusion over which version of the app should run, problems downloading the device update via car internet, had to use cellular. Completed registration for SFD credentials, but still doesn't connect the device to the car. Pops up a display stating "access granted", but then stops, no options but to go back, which then disconnects the device. Went to the OBDEleven forum to see if others had similar problems, someone had the exact same issue, the response on the forum was to register SFD credentials, which I'd already done, plus you can't do that without getting past that screen in the first place. I then tried to register on this forum, and then got a pop-up stating I am banned from registering, despite never having been at this web-site ever before. Total waste of 2 hours, product doesn't connect, app gets hung, and forum won't even let you onboard to ask questions. I'd suggest avoiding this product, it certainly will be getting returned by me tomorrow.

Really tough to say how I feel about this product as my feelings about it are sort of complicated but ultimately it does what it claims. Switching between the OBDEleven and OBDEleven for VAG apps on my phone requires the OBDEleven device be updated. Can be pretty annoying, so i try and stick to just one of their apps. More advanced features require a subscription and the credit based “apps” are neat - I can finally playback my DVD-Audio discs in 5.1 surround. The car had originally prevented playback when driving thinking it was video content, which was pretty annoying. Had to contact support to resolve an issue with my vehicle being misidentified.

It clears the maintenance light on the dash. A step better than an obd2 scanner.

This thing makes working on your car so much easier! It’s the best tool in my inventory and I would 10/10 recommend!

It does what it should. Scanning new cars takes a bit more time. I use it mostly for on the go diagnostic tool which can stay in the car. Proper diagnostics it’s better to go for a wired connection in my opinion. Most features are paid. However you could still see live values from inside every ecu for quick test without a subscription I guess it just allows only 5 or 6 at a time. Having it in the car with full access to ecu gives you a peace of mind.
