This product is a SCAM. After you buy it you still need to pay credits to use it. Terrible product, terrible value for money, and the connectivity isn't even good so you are paying a premium for a bad product.

Total. Complete. Garbage. Bait & Switch - You think you'll buy this scanner and it will actually work. That couldn't be further from the Truth - Not only is it incredibly slow, it misses codes and makes up codes. Additionally, ANYTHING YOU ACTUALLY NEED ACCESS TO (for actual maintenance, updates, etc.) is locked behind a $90 paywall for "Pro" access or $200 for "Ultimate access". (There are some garbage "apps" (none of them actually work) that you'd still end up spending money for "credits" to attempt to utilize). Total garbage. I bought one of these a few years ago, had a good experience. Got this one for the update, and it's total garbage. BUY REAL TOOLS.

Really tough to say how I feel about this product as my feelings about it are sort of complicated but ultimately it does what it claims. Switching between the OBDEleven and OBDEleven for VAG apps on my phone requires the OBDEleven device be updated. Can be pretty annoying, so i try and stick to just one of their apps. More advanced features require a subscription and the credit based “apps” are neat - I can finally playback my DVD-Audio discs in 5.1 surround. The car had originally prevented playback when driving thinking it was video content, which was pretty annoying. Had to contact support to resolve an issue with my vehicle being misidentified.

It clears the maintenance light on the dash. A step better than an obd2 scanner.

I've wasted money on inexpensive scanners before: none of them worth anything. This one costs a good bit more but works quite well and with the app it's useful in tracking down even intermittent problems with it's live data

It does what it should. Scanning new cars takes a bit more time. I use it mostly for on the go diagnostic tool which can stay in the car. Proper diagnostics it’s better to go for a wired connection in my opinion. Most features are paid. However you could still see live values from inside every ecu for quick test without a subscription I guess it just allows only 5 or 6 at a time. Having it in the car with full access to ecu gives you a peace of mind.

Sehr gutes Tool, zB. für den Gebrauchtwagen-Check und für die Wartung / Service! Vorgeschichte: Haben stundenlang versucht, das Teil zum Laufen zu bringen ("Überprüfung fehlgeschlagen"). Ein E-Mail mit dem Hersteller Support brachte Klärung: Die Neuware war eine Retoure, der "Vorbesitzer" hat nach der Registrierung auch noch eine PIN vergeben. Mein Dank geht an den Hersteller, der hat mit sehr geholfen, dass es letztendlich doch noch funktioniert hat und ich das Gerät NICHT zu amazon zurückschicken musste!! Weil wenn man solch defektes Geraffel zurückschicken muss (Einpacken, ausdrucken, zur Versandstelle bringen) darf man sich auch noch blöd anpflaumen lassen: Uns ist aufgefallen, dass du in letzter Zeit viele deiner Einkäufe zurückgegeben hast. Wir verstehen zwar, dass Rücksendungen Teil des Online-Shoppings sind, aber wir möchten, dass du mit deinem Kauf zufrieden bist. Für zukünftige Einkäufe empfehlen wir dir, die detaillierten Produktinformationen, Fotos, Videos, Kundenrezensionen und Vergleichsfunktionen zu nutzen, um deine Auswahl zu treffen und dein Einkaufserlebnis zu verbessern. Ein Tipp: Verkauft mal Sachen, die funktionieren oder den Artikelbeschreibungen entsprechen, dann müsste der Kunde weniger retournieren!
