I was pleasantly surprised by how well presented and high quality these Black Voyage Reusable Vacuum Compression Bags are right out of the box. Each one comes neatly packed in its own protective sleeve, and the attention to detail is clear from the sturdy zippers to the clean minimal branding. The zippers are tight (as mentioned on the included tag), and works well. Once sealed and compressed, it keeps air out completely. The compression performance is excellent. I also bought the Black Voyage backpack, which comes with the pump. While these bags work perfectly fine without it, the pump definitely makes the process faster and easier. I’ve tried plenty of travel compressors, but the Black Voyage Reusable Vacuum Bag is in a league of its own. I used this for my recent trip to help condense my carry-on and backpack, and the results were fantastic. I was skeptical about how much I could get in here, but I managed to fit: 2 pairs of heavy jeans A stack of T-shirts 1 bulky sweatshirt Even a pair of flip-flops! You can immediately tell these are made from high-quality, durable materials. Knowing they are made in the USA gives me a lot of confidence in the construction compared to the flimsy plastic ones I’ve used in the past. The most important part? It kept its vacuum seal for the entire duration of my travel. There is nothing worse than opening your suitcase to find your bag has "inflated," but this one stayed flat as a pancake until I arrived at my destination. It saved me so much vertical space that I didn't have to struggle with my suitcase zipper for once. I’m already planning on buying a few more of these for my family. If you want to travel light and organized, don't hesitate—this is worth every penny.

These bags are really high quality! The material and zipper feel really nice and well-built. They are waterproof and come with a little handle on the side if you want to carry just the bag to a pool or beach or something like that. Size-wise, these are perfect to fit inside your carry on or large backpack once vacuum-sealed, and you can bring along an extra one (the come in a pack of 3) for dirty/laundry clothes to keep them separate on the way back from your trip. I went through the process of packing one of the 18L bags in the video, and I could have put a ton more clothing in the bag before sealing it! I highly recommend giving these a try. They are very functional and help save quite a bit of space for over-packers like me!

Not only do these travel bags look stylish, but they are great quality and really work well. The vacuum sealer is smaller than any of the other brands I was looking at so it’s easier to pack. The bags are heavy duty and the zippers are durable which keep the bags sealed. I never carried on before but now I can because of these bags. They have cool hooks if you want to deflate and hang straight in the closet making it easy to stay organized. They come in all different sizes and you can purchase with or without the vacuum which is a nice option. I would definitely recommend for all travelers!

Update to previous review: I have updated my rating to 4 stars because the customer service with this company is top notch. They reached out to me after my initial review and they were so quick in their responses and diligent in working out a satisfactory solution. I tried the vacuum bags out weeks before my trip so I could see how they work. I bought the 41L for carry-on. I was able to put 8 pairs of shorts with 8 tops, 3 dresses, 3 swimsuits, a beach cover-up & all my undies. The bag still had some room so it wasn't too tight to zip. All of this fit into my carry-on without the vacuum bag but it was full. Not much room for shoes or toiletries. When I deflated the bag it probably compressed about 3 inches. Nothing like the photo as advertised. If you look closely at slide #6 it is very misleading but what I didn't notice until after purchasing was how it says the before is 10 inches and the after says 8 inches when clearly there is a much larger difference than 2 inches in the images presented with those measurements. That is why I am rating only 3 stars. I was tricked but my fault for not realizing the false advertising before I bought it. The compression does make a difference though and with the vacuum bag I can probably add a few pair of sandals and still stay within carry-on guidelines. I'm sure I can also stuff some toiletries around the edges. I will most likely keep the bags because I don't want to check any luggage but there is no way you can get twice as much inside a regulation carry-on . Also, I do not think that if I were packing larger winter clothes that these bags would fit as much as they claim. Another thing to mention is that after 19 hours my clothes were only slightly wrinkled. Not as bad as I expected however my expectations were based off of the misleading photo presented. Other notes: there seemed to be no air leakeage after 19 hours and I had no problems with the zipper. Material quality seems pretty good too.

Great packing bag for maximizing space in your luggage! It comes with it's own rechargeable vacuum pump, which is small enough to pack and bring with you. The bags are made from a heavy duty type of plastic material. They are water and air tight, and they look good too. I will be purchasing more.

Bought these and another brand for a trip that I wanted to do carry on. The Black Voyage are far superior and worth the price. I like that they are like a packing cube that can be compressed and not envelope style. So easy to use and was able to get a lot of clothes in.

Excelente marca, excelentes productos. Compre las bolsas de 18L y fueron una maravilla, más tarde mi novia me regaló la mochila Zaphyr y estoy encantado con la excelente calidad y funcionalidad que tiene al comprimir la ropa, compartimientos y calidad de los materiales.

Comenzando por el empaque en que viene la bolsa de viaje, comienza a verse la calidad del producto. La firmeza del material de la bolsa y el cierre hermético de la cremallera, hacen entender la garantía de por vida del producto. Hice ya una prueba del vacío, la potencia de la bomba impresiona, y en verdad el volumen una vez hecho el vacío se reduce a menos de la mitad. Estrenaremos la bolsa la primera semana de octubre en vuelo trasatlántico.

No le tenía fe, y superó mis espectativas !!

En general bien, en el caso de una, el cierre se zafó fácilmente y es difícil acomodar el cierre nuevamente. Las otras 2 no han dado problemas, ahorras bastante espacio, muy prácticas.

Revisado el producto en cuanto llegó. La calidad de los materiales es evidente. La potencia de la bomba es mejor de lo que esperaba y tiene bloqueo para viaje.
