Move over, Beethoven—there’s a new symphony in town, and it’s the Olay Regenerist Brush! I bought the Olay Regenerist Brush, ready for an experience akin to sandblasting my face. Its a face exfoliator so naturally, I expected a machine that could double as sandpaper. But when I turned it on, I was greeted by a gentle, barely audible buzz. Quiet? I’ve heard pin-drop contests noisier than this thing I put it to my face, expecting my skin to scream in agony, but it was like getting a facial massage at the Ritz spa, except by considerate elves. My face felt so relaxed, I almost offered the brush a job as my personal therapist. And when I rinsed the brush, the amount of dirt that came off made me wonder if I'd been living in a coal mine. (This brush must have a PhD in dirt extraction. Sherlock Holmes couldn’t have done a better job of sleuthing out grime.) My skin was so smooth afterward, I wanted to keep using it all night – but I didn’t want to explain to my boss how I was late to work because I was having a midnight romance with a face brush. Talk about effectiveness you say? This thing is a miracle worker. My sensitive skin, which usually reacts to new products like it’s auditioning for a horror movie (ingrown hairs, nodular cystic acne, blackheads and white heads), was suddenly clear and smooth. No pimples, no breakouts – just pure, unadulterated joy. The bristles were a perfect balance: firm enough to do the job but soft enough not to turn my face into a battlefield. Some folks want firmer bristles, but who wants their face assaulted by a porcupine? Exfoliating with this brush is a delicate dance, not a mosh pit. If you want something more bristle, use a steel-wool to exfoliate. (Don't actually do this LOL) Now, let’s talk cleaning. If you're using this to remove a full face of makeup without wiping it off first, congratulations, you’ve just discovered how to turn your face into a modern art masterpiece. To those who think this brush should remove a full face of makeup, do you also expect your fork to make your dinner? Use makeup remover first, folks! I clean the brush head with soap after each use, making sure it's spotless. Because who wants to clean their face with something that looks like it’s been dragged through a mud puddle? As for the rotation, it doesn’t spin like a Ferris wheel on steroids, but it’s got torque! Push it against your face, and it keeps going, unlike me when I hit the snooze button. And trust me, you don’t want it to spin faster unless you enjoy soap flinging contests. There's a bit of a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, you'll feel like an exfoliating ninja. Battery life? I haven’t had it long enough to comment, but I handle it like it’s a gremlin: no water and definitely no midnight snacks. It’s supposedly water-resistant, but I’m not testing that theory unless I want an expensive paperweight. Overall, this brush is a game changer. Sure, it could have more upgrades, but at $25, it’s a steal. My only regret is not buying it sooner. Five stars, two thumbs up, and a standing ovation for the best exfoliating brush I've ever bought. I bought this Olay Facial Cleansing Brush Regenerist because the Neutrogena Microdermabrasion System's replacement puffs were discontinued. A little skeptical at the begininning. However, after seeing 4.4 overall rating on Amazon with over 20k reviews, I was more convinced. I use it with Olay's Collagen Peptide 24 Cream Cleaner, it works very well on my face, having similar effect as Neutrogena Microdermabrasion System, but more sustainable and with lower cost. Because the brush head is still available from Amazon and it can last about 3 months. $5/90 days = approximately 5 cents a day, plus a drop of cleanser, as compared to the puff which cost 50 cents per use even before they were discontinued. Also the batteries last very long. I have been using it for over a month, 2-3 times a day, 3-5 minutes every time, still have the original batteries. After about one month, I can feel the spin rate slows down, so that the batteries will need to be replaced in about a month under heavy use (2-3 times a day). If you only use it once a day, the batteries should last about 2-3 months or longer. Some trick using it: you may find the head stop spinning when pressing hard against face, the trick is splashing some water onto your face. Overall, to people who knows how to utilize this device, it may worth hundred dollars. I recommend this item to everyone who wants to keep young looking.

This works great and will last if you know how to take care of it and have managed expectations. Here are my thoughts as a first time user... Effectiveness - I have very sensitive skin with congested pores that's prone to nodular cystic acne, blackheads and white heads. So far, this has reduced potential breakouts and evened out the texture of my skin! After one use I noticed smoother skin and nearly zero blackheads! Some reviews say they didn't notice a difference and I think that depends on thick your cleanser is, which can act like a lubricant that keeps the bristles from making full contact with your skin? I've used it with and without soap - it's definitely better WITHOUT soap if you want a deep exfoliation and glow!! Bristles - they're rigid enough to feel like they're doing something yet soft enough for sensitive skin. Some wished the bristles were firmer, but I think it would be too aggressive for everyday use and could cause more damage than good. I've been to several dermatologists and many cautioned me about over exfoliating manually (brushes, facecloth), saying it can cause micro tears in your skin for bacteria to go into or strip the skin of natural oils. Both of which cause more breakouts. I found the bristles to work well slightly damp, without soap, at buffing off dead skin gently and removing blackheads from my jawline and nose. Cleaning - reviewers that are disappointed that it doesn't remove a full face of makeup don't realize they have to take their makeup off FIRST with wipes or makeup remover. If you don't then you'll just be smearing makeup all over your face no matter how much soap you use. It did a good job getting the last trace of stubborn foundation off for me. I pulled off the brush head and cleaned it with soap after every use to make sure no makeup or skin was left behind and air dried thoroughly to keep it from getting mildew. I mean, what's the point in cleaning your face with dirty tools? Rotation - No, it doesn't spin fast but it does have TORQUE, meaning it doesn't come to a full stop when brush is pushed against the face. If it spun faster then it would skip off your face or fling soap everywhere! I soaped up my face first before using the brush to get even coverage versus putting soap on the brush. There's a learning curve to the movement pattern you use to get the best results. Sometimes moving it slowly side to side feels like it's working deeper. Battery/Defective device - I've only had my device for a week so I can't speak to its longevity but I make sure it NEVER TOUCHES WATER! The battery housing doesn't seem secure enough to seal out moisture? It says it's water resistant but I wouldn't use this in the shower. It comes with generic brand batteries but I used Energizer or Duracell Max to ensure power and life. At $19 for what I paid, it is pricey if it only lasts a few months but I'm hoping to get at least a year of daily use out of it if I keep it dry and don't drop it! Overall - it's definitely a game changer for me and I wished I had gotten this sooner! Sure, it could be more powerful, have more attachment options and be waterproof but at this price, it is what it is and gets the job done without using acid peels!

This brush is a complete game changer! As I’ve gotten older my skin has lacked that glow within and I’ve noticed the bags under my eyes are getting darker. I’ve tried face cleansers, expensive eye serums, eye masks, moisturizers, etc. While some products showed some signs of improvement, there was never that wow factor. I was skeptical about adding this brush into my routine as areas of my face are more sensitive than others, but I am beyond ecstatic I bought it! My skin looks revived! The under eye bags have almost disappeared! There’s a natural glow and my skin is so soft! I’ve never had acne before, but black heads have been the norm in my life until now! My complexion is amazing! I’m still using the same face cleanser as before, but something about this brush just really makes every product more efficient. I do feel the brush actually dries my face out more than it did before I started using it, but since I use the Olay Regenerist face lotion I don’t feel like it’s an issue worth griping about too much. I’m still excited to use this brush everyday. I’d highly recommend buying it regardless of what skincare line you use. It’s a staple in my routine and is worth every penny!

I ordered one and when it arrived I put the included batteries in but it wouldn’t turn on. I checked if the batteries were put in the correct way countless times and even had a family member try but it wouldn’t turn on and the batteries were in it correctly. I even tried batteries I had that were not included with the package. Still wouldn’t turn on. I called Amazon and asked for a replacement and they immediately sent a new one and it arrived the next day. It works! It works well! The power is strong enough that I can put pressure on it by pressing the spinning brush into my hand or against my face and the spinning won’t stop. The brush is soft enough that it doesn’t hurt or irritate my skin but it definitely feels strong enough to be effective. I love this product and recommend

to be completely honest, I was expecting a lot more from this product. the battery life is very good and all that but for me, that is not the most important part of a product when it comes to my face and how it feels. after I started using this, I noticed that the brush bristles were very rough on the skin which made my skin very red and a lot more sensitive than it used to be which has never happened before and is probably hard to believe. this also has caused me to have a lot more acne and I know for a fact that its not any of the products that I'm using because they are all prescribed by a dermatologist specifically for my face and my face was perfect before I started using this brush. I recently stopped using the brush and I noticed that my face has become less red and my acne has started to reduce which is amazing. I've seen positive reviews about this brush and it might just be my skin, but hey, this might help someone or just warn just in case this happens to someone else. so here you go :))

I wish I could provide a before and after photo, but I did not expect for this brush to remove my nose blackheads so well. I didn't even buy it for that reason, but I will say that like 60% of my blackheads are gone. I am not paid to say anything. I am just a very pleased customer. I have very dry skin that tends to get DULL quite often. It is the reason why I bought this product, because I thought perhaps a deep cleanse/exfoliation in brush form would help, and it sure did. My skin looks and feels amazing for the most part. I haven't worn makeup for 2+ years yet I still felt self conscious about my appearance because of how tired/dull my skin looked, but after only using this brush for 1 month, it changed my feelings almost immediately. I am 28 years old and I don't suffer from large pores, acne or very much blackheads (they're only on my nose), so I cannot say if things have improved regarding some of those issues, but I can say my skin looks less dead and my blackheads have reduced immensely. Actually, I do get pimples here and there--more than I used to as a teenager-- but I have noticed they don't make as much of an appearance now that I think about it... My skin still isn't perfect and I blame my bad sleeping schedule, diet and lack of water intake, but this product has most definitely helped and stolen my heart. I don't think I will quit using it. My only concern is that the everyday deep cleanse mode might actually be exfoliating my skin unbeknownst to me, which is obviously not something to be done EVERYDAY; however, the company claims that it is safe to use daily. I understand there is a exfoliation mode, but I still have my worries. The last thing I want is for it to make things worse later on down the road.

I've had one of these since they came out way back in the early 2000s. That one actually still works but to buy replacement brushes cost more than just getting a new one, so here we are. The construction is almost exactly the same as my old one, just a hair thinner, which is fine.. Yes the battery compartment is a booger to open, but if you're patient & just wiggle it off bit by bit, you will be grateful that the batteries are packed so water-tight when you're slinging this around in the shower, etc. It has 2 speeds, high & low, & comes w 2 brushes that are the exact same. I like the consistency & firmness/softness of the brush, I find it is just the right level. That said, I do notice my skin does have a lumpy/reddish reaction to these brushes as opposed to how the old brush from my early 2000s unit simply made my face smooth & radiant. So I'm guessing the composite of the bristles themselves has changed, or perhaps the cut on the ends of them isn't even, etc. I use this little machine as a boost for the weeks I notice I'm looking a little saggier or tired, I will use a max of 3x a week during those weeks. In general though, i use this 1x a week as directed by a dermatologist a long time ago. I use Olay Daily Facials every day for routine face cleansing & I love them. Overall it's probably the best tool of it's kind on the market at this price point. Happy scrubbing! 🤗

Bought this as a gift for my wife and she loves it! It is very gentle on the skin, but works very well. It leaves your skin smooth and it doesn’t lead to peeling or dry skin. Very simple to use! It’s a good value as well compared given its effectiveness and the cost of similar products.
