Average stains
I bought it for hands and feet. Average shade. I kept it for 6 hrs. I added eucalyptus oil and sugar as per instructions mentioned. I expected a still more darker stain. But ok satisfied average 😃

There is some excellent feeback on the same
Those planning to buy this must go through the reviews of the same on amazon.com. There is some excellent feeback on the same, and also details of the different ways in which people have used this henna. The first time I tried it, it did not give me 100% coverage for my grey hair; some were still left light brown. But then I tried to apply it myself and it was my first time, so cannot entirely blame the product.I mixed two cups of nupur heena with a cup of warm water and 1/4 cup of oil (castor+coconut), mixed it to get the consistency of yoghurt, covered the glass bowl with clingwrap and left it in a warm place for a good 12 hours for the dye to release from the powder. After 12 hours, I added 1 cup of indigo powder and mixed it well into this paste. Once done, I partitioned the hair in small segments and applied it all over the hair. Then covered the hair again with clingwrap plastic and scarf and let dry overnight. Rinsed it all off the next morning till the water ran clear. Note: no shampoo or conditioner used when rinsing. The hair color came out a beautiful darkish brown (with a few greys not deeply coated). After 48 hours I used a herbal shampoo to wash hair again. Hair feels very smooth and soft to touch after this exercise. Will reapply after 2-3 weeks. But next time I will mix the oil in the henna paste along with the indigo. I read somewhere that adding oil in the beginning prevents the henna dye from releasing to its full potential. I add the oil because some people say henna will dry the hair and make it grassy. My experience with using the oil is that hair did not become like that. Another point to note is that this application leaves a very strong henna smell in the hair. I read on some reviews that you can add aromatic essential oils like geranium or rosemary to the paste before applying. Will try that next time. For the time-being I simply sprayed some rosewater on the hair from time to time in the bid to reduce the henna smell.Hope you find this review helpful.
