Seagate IronWolf(シーゲイト) IronWolf 4TB NAS 内蔵ハードドライブ CMR 3.5インチ SATA 6GB/秒 5,400RPM 256MBキャッシュ RAIDネットワーク接続ストレージ用 (ST4000VN006)

I have 2 of these drives in my NAS in a raid 1 configuration. They are fantastic, they take all the data I need them too from games when my main PC's hdds were dying to the photos from my family from the last 15 years. I couldn't recommend anything different for a small home set up like this.

I have a pile of these in several enterprise video servers. They've been in service 24/7 for well over a year now and no issues thus far.

Die Platte kam sehr gut verpackt in einem original Seagate-Karton mit Schaumstoffeinlagen an. Habe die 1TB-Platte in mein Synology NAS eingebaut. Läuft sehr leise und wird auch nicht warm. Achtung: Die Platte wird mit Schreibschutz ausgeliefert und ich konnte sie daher anfangs am PC nicht wie erforderlich referenzieren und formatieren. Der Schreibschutz kann/muss wie folgt entfernt werden. Das Windows-Standardtool "DiskPart" erlaubt es Attribute einer Festplatte zu ändern oder zu entfernen - so auch den Schreibschutz: Drücken Sie gleichzeitig die Windows-Taste und "R". Alternativ öffnen Sie über das Startmenü das Programm "Ausführen". Geben Sie "diskpart.exe" ein und bestätigen Sie mit Enter. In das neue Fenster geben Sie den Befehl "list disk" ein und bestätigen mit Enter. Wählen Sie Ihre Festplatte mit dem Befehl "select disk X" aus und bestätigen Sie erneut mit Enter. (Für "X" setzen Sie die Zahl ein, die vor Ihrer Festplatte angezeigt wird.) Nun geben Sie "attributes disk clear readonly" ein und bestätigen wieder mit Enter. Danach gehen sie in Windows in der Systemsteuerung auf >Computerverwaltung > Datenträgerverwaltung und die neue Platte lässt sich jetzt ohne Fehlermeldung referenzieren, MBR anlegen, ein Volume (Laufwerk) erzeugen, Laufwerksbuchstaben vergeben etc.

I've been using the IronWolfs and Pros for a number of years now and would highly recommend. They are rock solid and good performers. Super trustworthy and great price for this capacity. They run pretty quiet and cool.

Bought 4 of those as internal data drives for a small 8-core AMD 64GB server I built about 2 yrs ago. If people are wondering about my computer credentials, I am a retired Mathematician and Engineer (I have advanced degrees in both disciplines). I’ve been building my own desktop PC’s since 1994. Over the years I have used several different brands of HDDs for my PC’s, IBM (invented HDDs - excellent quality), WD, Seagate & Samsung all close to excellent, HGST Ultra-star, Hitachi, Toshiba, Maxtor. These new Seagate IronWolf HDDs are excellent drives!
