Longer Ray5 a Must have.
Purchased The Longer Ray5 , laser cutter recently and it works great, I simply Love it. Ideal for beginner Hobbyist. Easy assembly with all the necessary tools etc. Lots of online Demonstartion on Unboxing and assembly etc. Helpful Customer service . Highly recommend the products.

Simplicity and you will accomplishes your projects.
So far I am loving this piece of equipment. This was my first venture in to a laser and my main reason for it was to help process leather cut outs. It has performed as described. Any issues I have had with it were of my lack of knowledge about and how to use it properly. On YouTube mainly the Longer Laser RAY5 has a good following and a lot of tips and tricks to make you look like a professional straight out of the box. The price is affordable, the set up simple and the software available to support it (3rd party) is fairly simple to use. If you want to be able to cut shapes or engrave in to many different types of material this is a great starter machine.

Customer service and good product.
This is a nice laser. I do canvas engravings so the spot size shows detail that a more powerful laser would not.

Quite a learning curve.
A bit of a learning curve. LightBurn is a must , but a real challenge to navigate. The Ray5 went together well. Took about 30 minutes to assemble. The company is very responsive. I had to send back the Ray5 5W do to numerous issues. So far the 10W has worked perfectly.

Do not buy may catch on fire
Mine caught on fire last night during the first use now I have smoke damage to my garage and damage to my table and fire extinguisher dust all over the place. I will not be purchasing another one of these from them also is supposed to be an upgraded version and once I got it I think it’s the basic model doesn’t even have the color screen. Do not walk away from this if you’re doing a 20 hour engrave make sure you sit there the 20 hours with it. The fire started from the electronics in the machine not from the material. I was engraving plastic at the time it happened.

Great item great customer service, just know if you want to upgrade the firmware, contact longer.com first with the model number first, do not just pick the one on longer website. This model is not listed there, however they will direct you to the correct one. Item very easy to setup and use and again GREAT customer service from longer.com
