Pests are gone!
Works! I had been using classic traps but the little critters got wise. This one got the last of them! I do like that you have an option for disposing of the little critters. It was easy to install and as long as you don't leave it in direct sunlight I think it should last for some time. We have had this out for 3 months now and after catching 5-6 there hasn't been any evidence of the little guys.

Does what is says. It's a good trap for the right location. Only issue is the fit on say a lowes or home depot bucket isnt as flush, but it still works like a champ. lots of vegetable gardens around me, so mice do their thing during the summer months and you'll get a few of them with this set up.

Works (to a point)
This device works, however if you are live-trapping, you must get the mice out right away as they are able to escape if the bucket is not high enough (mine is a 15").

Easy to set up and use
Mice were getting into the large pantry and eating thru packages, i have used traps for years. They are messy and not catching enough mice. This works! Check the pail in the morning , if there is a mouse, just flush it down the toilet. This works better than the roll and open pail top

What a Bummer! Only 1 Baby Mouse Trapped in Weeks of placement with this.
Not recommended as for most or all Mice will repel & stay away from this Trap no matter what Bait you choose to use as well as a known Mouse/Rat Location where you know & are aware that there are Mice & Rats! I had this PLANKYPRO Walk The Plank Bucket Mouse Trap V2 setup just below my Room against my Outdoor Wall where I have in fact been trapping many Mice using JAWZ Mouse Traps that simply snap on Mice that fall for the center Bait. I decided to give the PLANKYPRO Walk The Plank Bucket Mouse Trap V2 a try in this same location with Peanut Butter smeared at the back of the Plank Tunnel to attract & trap them. I had it out & in this location for over 3 Weeks with unscented Soap Water placed in the Bucket to drown the Mice that entered the Trap. The turnout was very poor to nothing as for, I found only 1 single Baby Mouse that had fallen victim and taken a chance with its Life in this Trap. No other Mice or even Rats around my Home were going for the Peanut Butter placed in the PLANKYPRO Walk The Plank Bucket Mouse Trap V2. I will be donating mine to my local Thrift Store as for the results of it were little to nothing & considered poor for attracting & trapping Mice in my opinion.

It has caught a few mice
This is not the easiest bucket type of mouse trap to use or assemble, but more importantly, it is not all that effective either. The trap adjustment is a bit finicky and after several weeks of use it has yet to make much of a dent in mouse population in my chicken coop. I have only caught 4 mice in it. So does it work? Well, yes. Sort of. Will the world be beating a path to it's door? Sadly, probably not. The old snap traps or the Tin Cat traps work as good or better for less money.

High Quality Walk-the-Plank Style Mouse Trap
My first impression of this mouse trap is that it is definitely high quality. The plastic is nicely machined and looks slick, which is pleasing to my OCD sensitivities. The mechanism was easy to calibrate using the provided plastic block. According to Google, the weight of an average field mouse is 0.68 oz. The provided block weighs about 0.65 oz, so I felt confident my set up would work after thorough testing. For my trap, I went with the covered design as I don't want any larger animals to get to the bait. I stacked two 5-gallon buckets with holes cut in the top one, such that the planks sit on the edge of the bottom bucket. I cut off the bottom of the top bucket. I placed peanut butter at the end of the planks and on the under-side of the lid. I used large wooden paint stirrers (free from any hardware store!) as ramps. To the trap, I added about 4 inches of water, salt (to prevent freezing), and a small amount of dish soap. Within 48 hours I captured two mice. One issue with this trap is that it is very light and tips away from the bucket a little when force is applied to the plank before it drops. I solved this issue easily by taping the body of the trap to the bucket. The other issue is that the planks are easy to break if you aren't careful. While testing the trap I accidentally snapped one plank in half when it caught on my sleeve as I retrieved the plastic calibrating block from the bucket. I was able to superglue it back together easily, but you should be gentle when handling these traps. Overall, I would not hesitate to buy this trap again in the future and I certainly recommend the Planky-Pro if you are looking for a good walk-the-plank style mouse trap.

It's working!
My apartment has been invaded by the mice. I put out poison stations, and various kinds of small traps, and boxed all food in plastic containers. So far they haven't gone for any of the poison or traps that I can tell, but after putting out a bucket I've caught two so far. I do wish the lid fit snuggly on the bucket, I was hoping to use it as a regular lid, but it just rests on top of mine. But I like this option better than the can on a rope I had at first, dog can't get to the bait. I didn't end up calibrating the platform at all, and I forgot to put the screw in at all, but it seems sensitive enough. I've been using nutella for bait. I put small dabs going up the ramp, which were eaten. Overall very happy with this trap lid. I like how the ramp folds down for later storage. I wish they'd been attracted to the disposable traps so I didn't have to dispose of them from the bucket, but at least it works!

Mouse catcher supreme
You just have to remember to empty the bucket, otherwise it defeats the humane idea

Works Well Most of the Time. Customize your Bucket and the PlankPro.
It is expensive in Canada, but pretty well designed for multiple mice live trapping. It works on 95% of the mice. Some can find a way to avoid the plank if the peanut butter bait is in the wrong place. I found putting the bait at the extreme end of the plank AND below the level of the plank worked best. Higher up and some mice can wedge themselves against the walls to get the bait, or they will sense movement and retreat. I've even had a couple of mice able to jump up and to grab the plank from below and climb out to escape, which I caught on a security camera. To avoid this, I put leaves inside on the bottom to not give the mice a firm platform to jump from. The soft leaves, or grass or straw, stops any high jumps. I removed 1 star for 2 problems with the trap. One problem is how to check the trap. It is a bit of a hassle to remove the plank housing and to reassemble just to look inside the trap, as sometimes days go by without a catch. To help this, I put a small piece of tissue on the end of the plank, which falls into the bucket if the plank moves. If you don't check the trap every day, mice can die inside. Next problem is the plank. It is awkward and requires space. Instead I used a stiff but flexible wire mesh with 1 cm wire squares that I cut for the length of the bucket plus enough to fold under the bucket base to hold it down and then aligned squares at the top to hook onto the plank where the ramp connects. This "vertical ladder" takes no space, is easy to make, to spread peanut butter onto as bait and is easy for the mice to climb up and down. The trap became much more effective with this vertical wire mesh ladder as it is wider, easier to bait, requires no extra space, is more durable than the wooden ramp and is easier to clean if needed. Another problem is the extreme high cost. I made 2 tilting lid bucket traps that were as effective for just pennies in materials from scraps around the house, like a coat hanger, another broken bucket for plastic and some zip ties. These worked ever bit as well as the PlankPro and I still use them. I made them because I could not afford more of the extremely expensive PlankPro traps. Tips. To live release mice, there is no need to remove the bucket lid but just take off the housing and then letting the mice out is enough. Don't spread peanut butter on the housing walls or top above the plank but thinnly below the trap on the lid or under the plank. Check the trap every day or put a thin piece of tissue on the end of the plank to notify you of a possible catch. Put leaves inside the bottom of the bucket to prevent mice from having a firm platform to jump from. Get as tall a bucket as you can or even use a second bucket cut in half to insert the bucket with a lid inside of (bucket with lid needs bottom cut out for this bucket inside a bucket). Some buckets are short enough for some mice to jump around in and the constant jumping can be noisy or at least it notifies you of a catch. Use the PlankPro lid to draw an outline for the plank housing onto another bucket lid and use the non PlankPro lid instead (in case the green PlankPro lid doesn't fit the bucket that you have really well), it is easy to do with a marker and cutting tool, especially a multi tool or a jig saw. To the developer. Stop calling it a PlankYPro. I find the name idiotic. Your customers are not 5 year olds. PlankPro is a better name. Include a wire mesh with 1 cm or 1/2" squares as a vertical ladder that fits flat against bucket, instead of the silly ramp. LOWER THE PRICE FOR THESE BITS OF PLASTIC!!!!!

Works great!
Works well and can use any bait! Caught some mice the first night setup.

Not made for metric buckets
I guess these are not made for the metric standard size buckets which are a bit bigger than the US 5 gallon pail. I got mine to stay on by drilling a hole in the bucket and using the provided screw and nut, making it stay in place. But like my review of the planky, I have yet to catch anything with these types of traps, yet being VERY successful with regular old mouse traps. Nice concept but not really for rats, even the small ones that have infiltrated my house...

It really does work
Peanut butter as bait, set up in my chicken coop, first night, nothing, second night 13, next night 5 then 3. So nice to not have to mess with individual traps, especially when the chickens would set the off. Not much work to clean out the bucket and add more water, much easier then setting spring traps. So effective and so easy I wish I bought one years ago.
