If specified, some knives are made of D2 steel or 440c stainless steel. Because these are hand made knives, and not machined, you will frequently see imperfections, blemishes, and differences in finish materials that are part of a handmade product and natural materials. This knife is just beautiful. It’s a little larger than I expected and cannot be used for every day, but it’s sharp and very sturdy.

Elegant!
I received the knife from my team at work as a Christmas gift. This knife is very elegant and I was able to put a wicked edge on it. The knife did not come very sharp. I would classify this as more of a decorative knife as it is a little heavy to use as an every day carry knife. With that being said, I have used it for a bunch of different tasks around the house and it has held up fine. This will be something that my kids will receive some day when I am no longer here and I am sure it will still be just as amazing.The knife came very stiff and it took a few days of playing with the knife and constantly opening and closing it to get it broken in. I am very grateful to have been gifted this knife and I am sure anyone who buys this knife will also be able to enjoy its quality.
