Good Product- With one minor caveat easily remedied
The product was overall a good deal; there is one very important caveat. Itโs in olive oil, but the salt % was very high and this caused a very brine, salty taste coming straight from the can. To overcome this salty, brine taste, I had to soak the product in water for a few minutes before actually eating or mixing with scrambled eggs or other foods. The salty, brine taste is a manageable issue in exchange for the healthy quality of the seafood; otherwise, this is a good buy. I asked AI how to get rid of the salty taste and it did wonders.

Worth the price
These anchovies are more expensive than other brands sold on Amazon, but are worth the extra money. The other brands are mushy and bony but this brand has a great texture and flavor and seems to have fewer bones in each filet. Yes, they are salty but they're anchovies!

stinky but good
These are really good, but I can't seem to get the fish stink out of my fingers.

Anchovies upon anchovies, for the win!
Good price, great quality. Anchovies are great for so many things! Pizzas! Lasagna! Salads! Sauces! Excellent to stock up to have on hand in the pantry, they keep for such a long time. And the remaining oil in the tin makes our cats go bonkers when we soak it up with some oatmeal.

Not your "NORMAL" King Oscar anchovies
There is something wrong with this product. It is the first time I have ordered from this vendor, so I'm beginning to wonder if the problem is in the way they have stored or handled it. I don't know. This is a pack of 18 two-ounce cans of King Oscar anchovies in olive oil. We used to get them in the grocery store, but they haven't been available lately, so I thought I'd try through amazon. The PROBLEM: When we first open the can, they appear to be good -- the color is reddish. But when I reach in and try to peel out one anchovy, the consistency is mushy. Some of them are almost whole, but about half of them sort of disintegrate in my fingers, especially at the ends. They have turned to mushy paste. What is wrong? Is it that they have been shaken up terribly? Is it that they have been stored in a warehouse over 100 deg F? We have tried every brand of anchovy on the market, and have always sworn by King Oscar as being the absolute best. But this is such a disappointment. We have gone through seven of the eighteen cans, and feel that we cannot return it. But we are unhappy and I just wanted to report this.

Good product
Better than most completion I would like though to find the whole fillet as Sardines for example not just the salty ones The fish as it is basically not this kind skinless and boneless
