It's just long enough to cover my legs down to below the calf, and short enough that I'm not tripping over myself where ascending or descending stairs. And warm? Definitely! Bit still breathable, so you don't find yourself getting sweaty. And it's not baggy, like some of the other more well known brands. Now, I had to do the outdoor, cold weather test too, and it passed with flying colors. My walk to the mailbox, with the temperature at about 12° F, was absolutely chill free. The fleece is enough to ward off the wind. Overall, this is a wonderfully soft, plush, comfortable hooded wearable blanket. My wife wants one too. AAA+++ PS: I didn't receive this as a promotion, and I purchased it for myself.
