what kind of 220 to 110 volts tranceformer to be used with this product,I mean wattage? should we use 1000w or 2000w?

I did not purchase the Crockpot, because I found out you need a 2000 watt step down converter, and this costs Rs 8400, - more than the cost of the Crockpot!!!
