You also get better control since you can feel how much material you’re removing. They clean up easily, and even when they’re covered in dust, the grit numbers are still visible. Just make sure to buy the ones with the colored ends. It makes it much easier to keep track of the different grits. For woodworking, they work great on miters. The flexibility of the sponge allows you to smooth the joint without flattening the edges. I’ve used a lot of sanding sponges, but these are the best so far. And at 8 for under $7 you cant go wrong.
