ECR4Kids Streamline Single-Sided Book Display with Storage, Classroom Bookshelf, Natural

I just got this today, Mar. 29, 2024, in white wash. Item was nicely packed in its packing box with all shelves covered in a wrap. The instructions was alright, but not very clear on which screws to use and which sides are up. You can figure it out if you look at it. To help any future buyers out there, the large screws are for the sides, the smaller screws are for the shelves, and the last 2 screws go on the bottom. Just make sure to pay attention to the shelves as one edge is finished and the other is raw. I assembled this all by myself so it's doable if you're alone, but definitely easier if you have someone else to hold or screw. This shelf is nicely sized and can easily hold 3 full-sized books side-by-side on each shelf. The entire shelf feels solid and has good weight to it. The shelves are deep enough that you could stack 2 books back to back. The hidden shelves on the back are a nice touch. The only thing that I wish was different are all the exposed screws. There are tons of screws showing everywhere on this thing. If the screws were hidden or set-in and covered with a matching colored sticker then this thing would be cherry! All in all, this thing is nice and definitely feels of quality. Not only that, it's wide enough and tall enough to hold a lot of books. Recommended!

Great bookshelf. Hold many books with some extra storage in the back. My toddler easily grabs books off of it and reads throughout the day. Very stable too.

Great little bookshelf! Was easy to put together and very sturdy! Love how it’s not bulky and doesn’t take up a lot of space. I bought this for a preschool classroom. Would buy again.

Perfect in every way! Definitely more of a pain to put together than the reviews said, but worth it. You need two people to build it for sure.

The screws were super hard to screw in. I was giving it all my might and had an indent in my poor hand at the end! But the directions were easy to follow and the piece is very sturdy and beautiful!

Assembly wasn’t too bad, but there wasn’t details about the orientation of some of the pieces. When I finished I realized the rough edges were on the outside and had to redo 3 of the 4 shelves. Also when you put books into the shelves, you can’t really see the covers. I’m going to add some of the cardboard from the box to the bottom of the shelves to prop the books up a few inches. Otherwise this is sturdy, pretty good size for our smaller space, and the whitewash matches our Babyletto crib almost perfectly.

Love it 🥰 I placed the shelf in our combined baby play space / homeschool space. It works perfectly to display books related to our studies which my older kids grab and read. And it's easy for baby to take board books from the bottom shelves. Pros: works as described. Displays books nicely. Sturdy. Cons: the holes for the small screws weren't deep enough. The instructions indicated I should only need a screw driver but I had to take out the drill which I'm not very experienced in using lol. One of the pieces ended up misaligned which caused the holes for the large screws to be misaligned when I stacked the shelves in the ladder formation. I had to take it half apart and re-do it. But I did succeed the second time and it ended up very sturdy. I would consider that a personal error sonI still give it 5 stars

I love this shelf I purchased to hold our piano music. The quality was excellent and was a very good value for the money. It holds sheet music and music books and provides easy visualization. I chose the natural wood shelf over the gray and am happy that I did. My only constructive criticism has to do with the instructions. I am a 70 year old woman and was able to put the shelf together myself, however the instructions were not specific with the step where you attach the "I" labeled pieces to the shelf bottoms. It should have specified to make sure the rounded or smooth edge of the "I" pieces needed to be face up. After it was all put together, I realized 2 had the rough edge on top. With the help of my husband, we had to remove almost all the screws, reverse the 2 pieces and put it back together. Fortunately, we didn't have any issues with reattaching the screws.

Dimensions in one picture don’t match what was delivered which is disappointing. Wanted biggest possible.

Looks aesthetically pleasing. Safe for kids as there are no sharp edges. Quality is great, and is also sturdy. However, assembly was a bit confusing and took so much time.
