Runs on mains power only so no battery, which can be awkward at times but for the actual strength of the device it worth it.The strength is adjustable using a dial which doubles as the switch so if you were using any form of lotion with it can make it difficult to switch on.Overall though it’s good quality and worth the price.

Quite powerful but fairly heavy. I think I prefer the ones that attach to the back of a chair for this reason. There's not a lot of difference between the attachments but the hot one feels nice. Not something I would use often but good for the few minutes a month when I do.

After days of trying various medicated gels, painkillers etc, I had to do something and realised I needed a massage so decided to look for something not too expensive but useable by myself. Decided upon this and after two days, I was back to normal. Perfect for the cost, multiple attachments (all of which I tried) and easy to use by myself or with assistance. Comes with a bag to store everything away.Highly recommend

This isn't as good a massager as claimed by some. Other products do it better. The different heads are a nice idea, but they don't provide much of a different experience because the action is basically just vibration rather than a variable tissue massaging action. Also the handle part which contains the motor is very heavy and trying to massage my left shoulder/arm carrying it with my right hand proved very difficult for any length of time. The weight coupled with the poor variety of action would suggest this isn't something to recommend.

It has modes and levels that can give you the message you need, and i like it the most because the battery lasts for long time

Waited for weeks for this was hoping this would have a variable setting it did in one way, on or off. Disappointed but will try the cooling and heating later and update

I was offered one of these for review about a year ago. I was really looking forward to using it but found that I was unable to remove the heat massage head, fitted by default. I tried everything and eventually asked Amazon Vine what I should do. They sent me another one and, guess what, it had the same problem. So I told Amazon and they removed my requirement to review it from my list. So, two of these have sat in our garage for almost a year, unused and unusable. One of my daughters saw it and asked about it last week. I told her and she said, "I bet my husband could fix it". My son-in-law is indeed a fabulous fixer of almost anything. He managed, with a lot of effort, to remove the default head; he's a strong young man and even he said he wasn't surprised I had not been able to remove the head. He took both away and used his Dremel to gently shave inside the grips on each of the heat and cold heads so that they remain slightly stiff, but secure. I can now remove them with my small woman's hands. He has kept one of the two sets while I now have the other. There are several other heads but these are of soft, more flexible plastic, so not tight and rigid.Thank you for your patience, I will now review the working product. I would say that a release button would have solved the problem rather than having to yank off the head with brute force! In all honesty, Wahl are lucky with the following review.The vibration effect is quite mild and the variation described is not significant, however, it is plenty to make a difference, particularly with the heat on with the heat head (the very one that was stuck). It is soothing and helpful in painful areas. No magic, but I am finding that with repeated use alternating the heat and the iced cold head from the freezer, there is noticeable pain relief. The device is very heavy but, in spite of that, it is a good shape so manageable. I have not yet tried the softer heads. For my problems, they are not really applicable.
