Best router
I've been using this router for the past three years, and my experience has been excellent. The setup was straightforward, and it has consistently provided a stable and strong signal throughout my home. The range covers multiple rooms, and it handles multiple devices without any noticeable drop in speed. The router’s user interface is easy to navigate, making it simple to manage settings and security features. Even after years of continuous use, it remains reliable with minimal downtime. Overall, Tenda offers great value for money with consistent performance, making it a dependable choice for home networking.

Right Product, Right Price
I've used many routers till date, but I never found a product that does what it promises. Brands like Dlink, TPlink, Linksys, Cisco, Netgear etc. Are more visible in the market because people "especially people with no technical expertise" want them, for them buying a router is no better than buying a ceiling fan, if their neighbors have Orient they'll buy Orient too... he he! By the way that's exactly how most brands tend to survive in the market with their substandard products and premium pricing. Having expressed my views about those greater brands, let me now give you'll a fair and concise review of "this" product (Tenda AC 10). My Dlink gigabit router is not able to reach most parts of my house, its range is limited to my bedroom, due to which I bought a TP link extender about few months ago, but that failed to deliver too, infact it transmitted data at the most 40 mbps even when connected inside my bedroom and 1000:40 is definitely "Sheet" (deliberate spelling mistake). Note: Playstation network can give you nightmares when a 100gig game is downloaded at 1MB speed. Amazon fire tv on the other hand can work with any network, infact it's such a great device that it can possibly even work with a dialup connection. So my BIG problem was, you know it! Tenda AC 10 with the right setup and placement did the job, I repeated my primary 5G connection with this router and only left 5G network on, to avoid any possible interference, and as you may already know 5G or AC connections are not great when it comes to signal quality, yet this router is able to reach most parts of my house and my PS4 gets over 200mbps data transfer rate. Yes, this may not be the router with all features included such as SIP ALG or FTP ALG (firewall feature) which I use mostly, yet otherwise it has most of what one may need such as Good Firewall, DDNS support, VPN support, WiFi repeater etc. And moreover it has the best signal range of all. I feel astonished when mere repeaters are sold and bought with an inflated price tag when products like Tenda AC10 are there to kill the competition. That's all folks!

Detailed review after 15 days of use.
Writing this after about 15 days of use. Our previous setup and problem we faced: We have Hathway coaxial 50Mbps connection and have Technicolor router+modem. Due to lockdown we had about 3 laptops, 4 mobiles, and 1 TV connected throughout the day and Technicolor router wasn't able to keep up, it used to frequently hang after 4-5 hrs of use, nothing but reseting it would fix the problem for another couple hours. Did Tenda AC10 fix the problem : Yes, we connected this router through the ethernet cable from the old router and keeping the original setup in place as this router does not support coaxial connection. Setting up was quite easy, I used another ethernet cable to connect this router to my laptop and followed the instructions from the quick start guide. Once setup was done, it was ready to go and have been trouble free since. Now I have 3 wifi points (1 from old router, and 2 from this one), I have divided my devices across them. The network is stable across all 3 wifi points and the issue of hanging and need to reset every couple hours is now resolved. The MU-MIMO certainly does help and the difference is noticeable. Internet Speed: Speed from Hathway D: 50Mbps U: 10Mbps Technicolor WiFi D: 22Mbps U: 8.5Mbps Technicolor LAN D: 48Mbps U: 9.5Mbps Tenda 2.4GHz D: 35Mbps U: 9Mbps Tenda 5GHz D: 47Mbps U: 9.3Mbps Tenda LAN D: 48Mbps U: 9.5 Mbps Overall opinion: Built quality is quite good and I definitely like the angular edgy design. The smartphone app is quite handy and works well. The user interface is simple and easy to use both in the app and admin panel. Range is not an issue for us, we live in a 2bhk apartment with open area in front. Inside the home everything is flawless. 5GHz signal do tend to be weak outside as expected, but 2.4 works great. Despite the lockdown, delivery was prompt, thumbs up for that. Hope this review helps you out. Will be updating if anything else comes up.

Superb! Go for it.
I had used Tenda AC6 earlier and was impressed with the router. The router just performed well all-round. I didn't have a very high bandwidth internet and so was ok with low throughput at some places. But with lockdown that changed as I needed to be in one corner of the house for entire day to work from home on my computer. Thus a need for another router arose. This time I had finalized tplink archer c6 or A6 and tenda ac10. Chose tenda ac10 over tplink because of prior experience. The tenda AC6 works really well. I have four mobiles, Alexa, smart light, fire tv stick, two laptops and a computer connected to the router whole day along. Mind you all these loads are balances off between the tenda ac10 and AC6. Range and power throughput is good. I have kept the routers on 40mhz for 2.4g and 80mhz for 5g band. With the 2.4g I'm getting about 80mbps to 100mbps speed and with 5g band I get the full 200mbps speed. So set your bands correctly and it will give you good reception. Since I've a repeater AC6 I don't face much range issues, but in general this router has good range. Setting up the router is fairly easy with all the various options laid out in simple way. That's it for now. This is a truly vfm product. Just go for it. Note: Use good cat6 or cat7 cables in your setup to get best speeds. The one in my image is cat7 from Amazon 88mbps screenshot is for 2.4Ghz band with channel width 40.

Product is Worthy but Support is worthless. Sell it and forget the customer. Risky investment.
Update after 2 weeks. The wifi signals are super strong on both bands (2.4 and 5) It will give you the hand issue sometimes after installation. The LED lights on the router stop blinking and start blinking in a very rhythmic manner like it's sleeping and does not give you any idea what exactly is happening. There will be no wifi signal, the only solution is to restart the router. At that time do not think that your ONU is out of sort, it's just the router that is not working and it happens several times a day. You can see in the video when it hangs, the system light goes out of sync, can't even log into the router. Normally the system light blinks at normal intervals. The worse thing is when you call their support number they won't help but will only tell you to go to the service center. This is how they fool people, sell their product and then you start to and fro with the service center. In a nutshell, support service is worthless even you escalate it to the high level, all are the same. They do not care that you are the customer at some point I felt that the support people even do not care about their company itself. This happens daily several times under heavy downloading. I am returning the product just because of their worthless post-sales support, I called and emailed them but no one is listening. If you really want to invest your hard-earned money in such a product then do not go with Chinese manufactured products, they do not care about Indian customers and their policy is just to sell their cheap product invest a little more, and go for other products in the same category. That is what I am doing returning back on Amazon. It will give you the hand issue sometimes after installation. Best affordable router for online gaming and 4K streaming
I was in search of a good and affordable router when my Tp-link router (TL-WR840N) started having issues with 40Mbps fiber broadband connection. It was having frequent internet dropouts and had to restart about 5 times a day. It wont stay connected to my PS4 during fortnite gameplay and same experience with movie streaming on Amazon prime and Netflix. Speed drops drastically and make gaming and streaming impossible. Out of frustration i started looking for a good and affordable router. Came across Tenda AC10 and read lot for reviews from around the world mentioning its excellent price to performance ratio. And i decided to giver it a try. Performance: I am really surprised with its performance and wifi coverage. Now i am getting full wifi coverage in every corner of my house and with full speed for 40 Mbps. No drop in speed at any distance within house. I measured the wifi strength at different point inside house with wifi analyzer app. The place where my PS4 was placed had a signal strength of 75% with old Tp-link router and with Tenda i am getting 98% wifi signal strength. I was getting a speed of around 10 -15 mbps which also drops below 5 mbps with Tp-link. No such issues with Tenda i am getting 40Mbps download and upload speed consistently in every corner of the house. Its been few days and i never experienced any internet dropouts. Overall best performance. And yeah i am using 2.4Ghz band for now and in my observation, the 2.4Ghz band performance of AC10 is better than other brands upto 5K price range (which i tested - Tp-link, Asus, Netgear(these are routers my friends own)). I feel 5Ghz band performance is weaker in tenda compared to Asus and netgear. Not bad for a dual band affordable router though. But there is definitely space for improvement. 2.4 Ghz performance in untouchable by any of the above mentioned brands. So people just getting this for 5Ghz please keep that in mind. I am using just the 2.4Ghz for now and more than happy with the performance. There is a maintenance and reboot feature. I've set it to reboot daily at 3 AM. Which will restart the router and makes software runs smoothly. This router can work as a repeater and AP as well. Beamforming+ is a nice technology and boost signal strength. I cannot comment much on security. I find it similar to other routers from Tp-link or Asus or Dlink. It has WPA2-PSK encryption. I saw settings for other security features inside app, which is nice. This model is without USB. Installation: Installation was a breeze with the tenda quick installer (thru browser). I had set it up in under 10 mins. Just had to connect with ISP to update MAC address of new router. After setup you can download the Tenda app and control the router functionality thru it. Lot of useful features like signal strength selector, Parental control etc. Packaging, Delivery and Build Quality: Delivery was quick with 1 day delivery. Thanks to Amazon and seller for quick turnaround time. Product came in its original box without any extra box or bubble wrap outside. This is due to Amazon's go green initiative. Anyway my product reached safe, so no complaints there. AC10 have a very good plastic cabinet. Sturdy with matte finish. Antenna is a bit wobbly, but no impact on performance or no need to worry about it. 12V1A AC adapter with Indian plug type is included. There is a small Ethernet cable as well as quick install guide. I am really happy with its performance. Thanks for reading.

Great price/performance ratio with some caveats
This router has a lot of functions for every usage scenario. I will only review my own use-case: to use it as a WiFi repeater. Due to concrete walls in my house and a noisy 2.4GHz neighbourhood I wanted to use a dual band router, with the intention of extending my 2.4GHz network to 5GHz. This router does the job, but there are some issues: 1. You can't use the same name on the same band. E.g. if your main network is 2.4GHz and is called "My Network" you can't name the 2.4Ghz extended network of this router to also be "My Network" -- you can do it for 5GHz though. Setting the same name seems to confuse this router into trying to connect to itself and it never manages to do anything, you'll have to manually reset the router to get back online. 2. The 2.4 ghz band only supports ch 1-11, so if your main router switches to ch 12 or 13 (e.g. if you've set its channel to auto), then this router will drop the connection, and never reconnect. You'll have to switch the original router back to ch 1-11. 5Ghz supports a lot of channels though, so that's good. 3. The signal strength, for a mean looking router with 4 antennas, is average at best. Specially the 5Ghz barely manages to penetrate 2 concrete walls. The 2.4Ghz strength is decent. Overall, an OK router, nothing special, but not bad for the price.

Great Product ..
For starters ,I would like to state that the Product is great, however I got a defective piece .Since I am from the N/W'ing background ,i could easily understand the issue at hand . The Router seemed to have a bad ROM/Flash which meant that the Configuration that I would set for my SSID's and other settings would not persist.More so ,the Router would get turned Off once in a while and lose all its settings . Secondly ,the Wifi Radio for both Bands would not get turned on at all .I had to hard reset the router multiple times to get it up and running again .Once in a while it would jump to a Repeater mode ,which I had never configured at all. It was painful to get it working again once it used to get in that mode. However ,once it got functional there would be no issues at all for weeks and the speeds would be blazing fast especially on the 5 G channels. I would like to now state the Icing on the cake.I reached out to Tenda not really knowing the T&C's of my warranty [purely my bad:-)].It took a while to trace the right people/numbers but the Customer Service was extremely friendly and understood the nature of the problem in a minute. They also openly suggested that since this Product has a 3 yr warranty ,i would get a replacement in the 1st year and provided me relevant contact number of the local support in Bangalore .It was not very difficult to trace the service centre in BLR,but I managed to get a new piece without any questions asked.Kudos to Tenda team/support staff. NOTE : The new piece has none of the issues I described on top.Fingers crossed ..hopefully no more issues I can understand issues will be there but as long as the relevant support exists atleast I am happy.

It does it’s job
Product works really good and it is undoubtedly fast. Only gave it 4 star because the router cannot be controlled on the app when configured as a WISP Edit: 2 Weeks later and i totally agree with Akhil Kochhar‘s detailed review from back in 02 Sep 2020. This thing drops signal very dismally, it’s like it decides when it is going to be fast, I’m definitely returning it back.
