this trolling motor is great .. love the fact you can see the juice in your battery ! telescoping arm is nice .. really like the tilt is on the back so folds right in to place ! folding head makes for really compact storage ! i use this on a 14ft john boat extra wide extra deep ! little noisy but that is due to the power it runs ! first run out we got ran off the lake by a thunder storm , we literally went miles in very short !! that day proved to me this was a great purchase ! if i had bought the minn kota i had wanted , we would have been caught till dark in that storm !!! after owning this others are history , this is the nicest trolling motor i have ever owned !! the price , it is one of the best deals on the market ..

I knew nothing about boats or trolling motors. After extensive research, decide to try this trolling motor and I’m impressed! Since this was my first time, I was worried because I didn’t hear anything until hitting level 5. Just to be safe we all went on the boat for about 30 minutes and came in because we were unaware of battery usage.. we were still on the first bar. This was used on an inflatable boat with no less than 3 people on board with floor made of wood. Highly recommend!

This 55 lb thrust motor is no faster than my 30 lb. Returning something like this is too difficult after you’ve opened and used it. Prop edge gets chewed up fast.
