It's like a being in Tokyo!
I was on japan 10 years ago and had some form of miso soup everyday. I bought the miso paste after a lot of initial doubt but decided to give it a chance, because I was craving for miso soup.Packing was as shown in pic, delivery was on time via india post, expiry date was 1 year on package. So far go good. Now how would the taste be?I opened the pack and almost immediately went back to Tokyo! The fragrance alone was something I had long forgotten and now again after 10 years, all those taste buds tingling in anticipation.I made a simple broth with veg stock and added a tablespoon of the paste and had a quick taste check. Itaraki-mas. This took me back deeper into the alley ways of Kyoto, it was fresh, fragrant, not so salty, creamy, almost sweet, just the perfect balance for a soup. Now all I need is dashi stock and some silken tofu and I can have endless bowls of Tokyo in my house!Arigato-gosai mas Sakura! You made my day!

Taste is good enough, but product image is Shiro Miro and Actual Product is Aka Miso.
The taste is good enough and came well packaged.I'm familiar with both miso flavors and I often have had the aka miso so I'm comfortable with its flavor profile. However, this time I was hoping to try Shiro Miso since it has been a long time so I ordered it.Bought my vegetables ahead of time so when it arrived, I was basically ready to make a bowl of soup right away. But when I saw it was Aka Miso that was a bit disappointing, especially because I really dislike mislabeling, there really needs to be some sort of consumer protection oversight law for this, because if you complain to amazon they will only refund or replace your product but the problem will always remain for the next person.
