I bought this light bar on February 16, 2018. At first I had an issue with the control panel but a telephone call and email resolved that problem when Xprite sent me a new control panel The cord for the control panel is long enough so that the user can mount the panel anywhere it's needed. I have waited to post this review until I had several opportunities to run through a car wash and into heavy rain. So far I have not detected any leaks and the light bar works great. It's a good deal for the low price.Subsequent to the issue above, Xprite worked very hard to resolve my issue, which they did. I highly recommend this company because of (1) their low prices (2) the quality of their product and (3) their excellent customer service!

Customer service was slow at first to reply when I had an issue, but when they did, they went above and beyond!

The bar came with enough hardware to fit nicely on my Chevy 3500, but I had to provide my own machine screws and formulate my own mounting plan for lack of instructions. It came with more than enough wire to get to the battery and get the controller mounted on the dash. It is DEFINITELY bright enough even for daytime use. There are lots of patterns and the included controller does let you easily activate the ambers or the white takedown/alley lights. The LED modules on my bar did burn out rather quickly and had to be replaced. The white alley lights both burnt out and I had to reach out to the manufacturer. They asked for pictures, vides, etc, and still managed to send me the wrong modules so I had to start the whole process again. Eventually the correct LED modules arrived and they were relatively easy to swap, but I managed to strip one of the mounting screws in the plastic end caps. "oh well"The only other real issue is the bar has developed a parasitic leak when the bar is off and it eventually drained my batterie(s). I'v moved it to an ignition only circuit and that helped. Overall, it was worth the price, but I don't anticipate it lasting much longer than a few years.

One of the amber led light module stopped working after a month. I rarely used it07-06-2024 Update:I requested replacement only the light module that were dead but I received a whole new replacement for free of charge instead. that made is easy for me to just swap out the dead one and replace it with the new one. now i have plenty of spares in the future if i ever need them.customer support are superb will definitely buyt their products again.

It has a very sleek design and bright lights.Bad parts are the label on the controller started to peel off after 2 days, the unit does not have any magnets or suction to help secure the install which has to be clamped onto the frame and then drilled into the frame of vehicle. I did not want to damage my vehicle by drilling holes into it, and only clamped it down tightly to my vehicle, unfortunately it flew off causing damage to my vehicle, broken tail lights and big dents and scratches. The unit was completely destroyed in the incident. Total waste of money.

I purchased this item despite some bad reviews. It has saved my life at least a handful of times so far. I work in traffic, on the side of the road, middle of the road etc.. There have been more than a couple of times that the bright flashing light produced by this light bar has snapped someone out of their daze and made them aware I was in the road. Since purchase, the lights have run the equivalent of approx. 120 hrs and still flashing bright with no failures.

Only lasted 3.5yrs and rarely used. Shorted out. Controller gets power and light flashes for a brief second then nothing

The Light bar works well and produces great color. I did need a Controller Box replacement and I am happy the company said they would ship a new one to me.
