keep in mind when you buy HP 128 gb, it means a117 gb pendrive
1) Bought an HP v236w 128GB pendrive, but storage capacity is only 117 GB. 2) File copying process is slow. 3) Metal design looks good. 4) Heats up when transfering huge data, so resorting to transfering in small chunks. 5) once copied, the files all seem to be working fine in good speed. 6) I was reccomended HP by people who used it. other options are Sandisk, Kingston.

# VERY DISAPPOINTING # experience with this HP pen drive. It had issues from the time I purchased it and eventually crashed completely, making it unusable. What is even more frustrating is the warranty support. Instead of providing a convenient replacement/repair process, I was told that I need to physically visit an HP store in another city to claim the warranty. # Expecting a customer to travel to another city # for a warranty claim on a basic storage device is extremely inconvenient and unreasonable. I expected much better product reliability and after-sales support from HP. Based on my experience, I would think twice before purchasing HP storage products again. HP should seriously improve both product quality and the warranty-claim process.
