I ordered the medium for my husband who does wear a medium, but I was concerned because too often vests are so oversized that you have to size way down. This one is perfect for him (6 feet tall, 165 pounds). It's not tight at all, but just fits in a flattering way. More importantly it doesn't swim on him as many vests do, with huge armhole openings. So when I rate this as fitting "as expected," I really mean that it fits "as hoped."The vest is good for a sporty look, for wind resistance, and overall manly appearance.
