This is an EXCELLENT toy, well worth the money. I have a big dog - 30kg Indie mix - and she has HUGE amounts of energy. It is hard to keep her from bouncing off guests, or to keep her occupied for long periods of time (she basically spends a lot of time howling at things). This toy is BIG (so I wouldn't recommend it to a <25 kg dog). The first time I gave it to her, she tried to gnaw at it, and that didn't work. She was EXHAUSTED in about half an hour. She has now figured out that she has to push it around the floor/hit it to get treats out. I sometimes put it dry dog food, and so half her meal happens while she is playing. It takes a lot of mental work, so she is a lot calmer afterwards, and not as excitable or restless. The screw top is very effective, and because the toy is harder than regular Kongs, she can't open it up. It is VERY durable, she has a lot of strength. I highly recommend it for high-energy, restless, playful big dogs. Note: do wash it from time to time.

I purchased this around 6 years back and it last me till about 5.5years .It is durable as they call it and even more. What it did for my pet was it kept him busy playing with this and made him eat slower. Although it took him less than a week to crack the logic of making the food fall out. One important thing is to have the correct kibble size so that it is not to Easy or difficult for the food to fall out as both conditions make it less fun for the pet. I would recommend this to any one who wants to keep their pet on self play at times provided that the kibble size is correct.

I agree with the other reviewers that this is a good product in terms of durability and its basic function. I use it to keep my Labrador busy when I leave him alone. He can't destroy it, and he seems to have a good time getting the kibble portion of his breakfast out of it by rolling it around. If your goal is to prevent your dog from eating too fast and bloating, it will be perfect. However, if you have a smart dog and are expecting this toy to occupy him for more than 15-20 minutes, you will most likely be disappointed. The first time I used it, my dog was confused and got some of the food out and gave up. But within one or two uses, he developed a method that works reliably and he can just keep repeating over and over to get everything out. He now nudges it onto its side with his nose and rolls it over with his paw like an assembly line worker. It now takes him about 10 minutes to get his cupful of kibble out of the thing.

Super product! I recommend it for dogs 4 months and above. We have been using this products for over 2 months now and we give it to our pet when we go out of the house. It keeps him engaged for a long time.

After my older dog died, the younger one had serious separation issues. He would whimper and bark all day untill I got home. With no one else to fill in during work hours, my vet recommended the Kong wobbler. Holds one cup of kibble and keeps Bongo occupied for hours. It's been a couple months now and my neighbors haven't heard a squeak from him. Ordered another one for a 3 month large mongrel I picked off the streets las week. He tends to muscle down his food in a couple laps which is understandable for a puppy . He is inquisitive of bongos wobbler but i don't think it's a good idea to have dogs share the wobbler; I sense a mild fight might brew regardless of how calm a demenor the dog has. Thought that my be useful for multiple dog owners.

Initially I was happy as it kept my shark toothed Simba entertained.. he was able to only scratch it … when any toy in this planet could withstand him not more than three days it gave a good fight for more than five months … but one day SIMBA made me to worry “ what else on earth I can give him to play “

We adopted a 4-month-old shelter puppy a little over a week ago. Like a lot of puppies, she tends to bolt down her food. I've taught her sit, and have fed her meals by hand and made her sit patiently for each bite, but was looking for another way to feed her that fulfills the goals of both slowing down her speed at eating and engaging her mind. I read the reviews on both sizes of Kong treat dispensing toy, and was a little worried about the size. The description said that the large size was good for puppies over 25 pounds. Right now, Claire is 20 pounds, but she is quickly growing. I figured it made more sense to go with the size she would grow into and ordered the large size. I agree with other reviewers, that despite the measurements given in the product description, this seems much bigger in person! However, with less than a day of practice, she is doing awesome with it! She seemed to find the size a bit daunting at first, so it was more me making it dispense her food. The second time, I worked with her on the command "touch", and this has worked wonderfully! At first, I would give her the command "touch" and tap the Kong. When she touched it with her nose or paw, I pushed the Kong down to make it dispense a handful of food. When she had mastered touching it with her nose, I graduated her to touching it with her paw, making it reward her each time she did it. Pretty soon, she was swiping it with her paw and making it wobble over and dispense food on her own. Because there is only the one hole that dispenses food, she would have to touch it and pull it down in a certain direction to make it dispense her food. To begin with, if she made it wobble down correctly, I would manually turn it so it dispensed food for her. Now, less than 24 hours later, she is manipulating it completely on her own, and when it doesn't give her food (if the hole is on the wrong side) she simply continues to bat at it with her paw or roll it over with her nose until the food comes out. This is an awesome "toy" that keeps her actively engaged and problem solving, while dispensing her meals slowly so she doesn't get an upset tummy from bolting her food. On the durability of this toy: Some have said that it easily is destroyed by hard chewers. Our previous dog, Bandit (another shelter puppy) was a lab mix who could tear up any chew toy in no time flat, so I understand durability issues. However, this toy seems to be very well made. With that said, I only bring this toy out during meal times. So our new puppy does not have free access to it! It also seemed from the reviewers' pictures, that the damage was around the seam just under the hole that dispenses food. (Love that this unscrews for easy cleaning and easy filling, by the way!!!) When Claire first got this toy, she immediately went to the hole that dispense food. She knew immediately that the food was in there and started pawing at the hole. However, I directed her play with this, and taught her how to "play" with the toy to dispense her food. Now she no longer paws or bites at the hole because she has figured out there is a different way to make the food come out. She is a hound mix and not a lab, but I think the key to this toy with hard chewers is supervision and instruction. Don't let a hard chewer (or any dog) have free access to this toy--that is not it's purpose. Instruct your dog on how to make the food come out, and they won't try to gnaw or paw at the hole or seams. Meal time then becomes a learning game and engages their minds. I would definitely recommend this toy to anyone, with any breed of dog, but it may take a little bit of instruction on the part of the owner. If you want a toy for mindless chewing, choose another durable Kong toy. If you want a toy that challenges your dog and rewards them for thinking things through, then this is the "toy" for you!

Lasted well - tots tend to get destroyed by my newfoundland but these last a long time - I fill them with dog peanut butter and freeze them, keeps the dog amused for hours, they are pricey but they are of a much better quality than the cheaper ones, so they represent good value for money - newfoundland approved

Amazing fun, our basset hound absolutely loves playing with this! We put all kinds of stuff in it and it can have him entertained for ages. Sometimes we'll fill it up and then hide it so he firstly just has to find it to begin with. Only thing I'd say is make sure there's nothing breakable on the ground because our dog has absolutely launched this sometimes trying to get stuff out of it. He's even managed to get it out of his doggy door 😂
