the translucent container housing the filter is poorly glued to its base. it came off within merely 3 weeks of usage (maximum used for 4-5 times). I didn't even try to unlock it or something ... it was just sitting there on it's side, and the thing came off! i thought i forgot to lock it or something, but to my surprise... it came off from the glued part. now the whole thing is unusable, and i can't even return it.

SUMMARY There are few products that meet my level of critique, to which I find very few flaws. The HOTO Car Vacuum Portable Cordless, 4-in-1 Mini Handheld Vacuum is one of them. I can highly recommend this product for your home office, 3D printing cleanup, and other small cleanup jobs. It even reverses to act as a blower for your keyboard or other things. I am very pleased with this purchase, so much so, I bought a 2nd one for my other room! I'll be designing a 3D printed stand for it soon. PROS + Looks great + Compact Size + Excellent suction power! + Good weight, not cheap feeling at all. + Great quality, many fine details were not missed or skimped on to lower price. CONS - USB charger plug is on the bottom of the base, so you can't stand it up while charging, it must be laid on its side. - I'm not a fan of bags for storage, I'd rather have a box/case with cutouts for the parts, or a charging stand at least. - Price is a bit steep, but I'd say it is worth it. This is a case of you get what you pay for (and more).

The HOTO handheld vacuum is very good and reliable! The battery never lets out for the use I need it for (maybe 15 minutes of on/off cleaning in my office), and charges back pretty fast. I use it to clean my office and it cleans extremely well. The suction is powerful enough and since they put the vent on the "back" of the machine and shoots up, it doesn't blow on anything by accident next to where you're cleaning, which is one of the main reasons I got this for: my Dyson vacuum's vents were on the side and were blowing dust towards my computer and electronics which was very counter-productive, so the HOTO vacuum is now an essential cleaning tool for my office! It also has extensions to use it as a blower, but I would not recommend to use this to clean electronics as it is not as strong as compressed air cans or other electric blowers that have been made for such purposes.

This is an awesome little unit! Compact, efficient, with surprisingly powerful suction. I have a dog - so trust me I’m usually disappointed in cordless car vacs. This has well made attachments that do a good job of picking up dog hair and the dust and light debris that open doors invites in. Easy to empty. Quick to charge. Neat to store, and good thin wand that actually fits between the seats!

Works much better than expected for the price! Good size if you take off attachments to store, takes a bit to charge, but once fully charged, it lasts quite a few times. Perfect for a quick little vacuum of the car! My daughter is always dropping crumbs somewhere, and the attachments are a lifesaver with this!
