Real Grated Parmesan Cheese 227 Grams - Imported From USA!

Very good parmesan!

I've never had parmesan cheese but wanted to try it out cause all these food content creators talked about how awesome it is and I'd seen them use it in pasta, pizza and other stuff. It didn't really taste like anything to me. Of course there would be a lot of difference between the real thing and grated product that's supposed to have a longer shelf life etc, but this was quite flavourless. I was expecting to be hit by an intense cheese flavour but it was very mild. Will have to try the real thing in Italy then I'll pass any judgement lol, a five star for now as a placeholder cause it was the product I ordered and has about 6 months till its best before date so that's good.

This tastes exactly like the stuff you pick up from a US supermarket. People complaining it tastes like sawdust - the original product on the us tastes like cheese flavoured sawdust too. If you want something that's flaky and will survive room temperature you need to add a ton of additives Which will make it taste this way. You want a proper nutty tasting parmigiano reggiano, go buy the real thing. But if like me, you're stuck in a tier 2 City with no access to the real stuff, be thankful such a product exists and be prepared to lower your standards.

Got the delivery in expected time and was satisfied with the packaging. But the cheese itself is only good. Really not worth so much.

I like the cheese

I received the Parmesan cheese with the outer packaging intact, but the inner freshness seal under the lid was already open/not properly sealed. Since this is a food product, I couldn’t trust its safety and did not use it initially. Very disappointed with the packaging quality. Please check the seal carefully before using this product. After deciding to try it, I was even more disappointed. I’ve been using Parmesan cheese for years outside India, and this is the first Parmesan I’ve purchased in India. The taste and smell were nothing like what I would expect from Parmesan cheese. Even if it isn’t authentic Parmigiano Reggiano, I expected it to have a pleasant aroma and rich flavour, but it had neither. Another major issue was how it behaved when heated. Instead of melting and blending into the food, it remained dry and grainy, almost like breadcrumbs. It didn’t give the texture or flavour I associate with Parmesan cheese. Overall, this is one of the most disappointing food products I’ve purchased from Amazon, and I would not recommend it.

Not the best parmesan cheese but surely does its job! made Alfredo and Mac and cheese pastas with this and it tasted wonderful!

IDK what everyone was whining about. I ordered it sort of reluctantly but as a chef I can agree this is a decent product and a good quantity too. It adds a salty cheesy additional taste and is plain amazing.
