SHR20790, SS-304 Grade, 6x6 Over Head Shower Without Arm, Chrome Finish

Update (more than a year later): Using it daily. Extremely good. No rust, no split seam, very little maintenance required. Can't say anything more. My review comes after 3 months of usage. Before buying, I read all the other reviews and especially the low-rated ones. I was in two minds honestly - buy this or go for branded like Jaquar or Kohler (all my other standard fittings are Jaquar as you may notice from the photos/video). Then I thought - what the heck - the cheapest 200x200 mm Jaquar rain shower is ₹4500 MRP; even if this one works for just 1 year, I can take a risk with ₹1000. After 3 months of use, let me say that I am not disappointed. I am not seeing those dreaded seam splits, corrosion, etc. See pics again. The shower works fine, the pressure is fine, and I am really enjoying my showers. Note that rain shower is not forcefully; it must feel like natural rain; don't expect high pressure from this. I recommend this product as a user completely. Maybe it is too early but I remember reviews that seam split within a month or less. I can speculate that the problem was the installation of a pressure pump. - people are (wrongly) advised that a pressure pump is required for rain showers - a pressure pump is only required if the water pressure is too low - check the normal water tap; please fill a 1-litre measuring jug under the shower or tap. a) Turn the problem tap or shower on full. b) Time how long it takes to fill the jug. c) If it takes more than 6 seconds to fill the jug, then you have low water pressure. What happens if one installs a pressure pump is water is forced from the shower at a pressure that the shower cannot bear and therefore it splits. One another note or warning. If you are going to install a rain shower of 200x200 mm or larger, the water boiler should be 25-litre capacity or above; else water may become cold pretty soon.

Very Good no water leakage or nothing

This brand is really made me fan of it. They have quality products at reasonable rates. Easy to assemble, premium looking and nice functioning shower head. You can buy with closed eyes. Mind you, I am not their employees or have any connection with company. These products are too good to believe.

Fed up with leaking shower head, starting to look for Metal Shower Head. Finally zeroed on Alton Shower Head. Promptly dispatched by Amazon. Out of the two I ordered, one was partly bent on the side. Amazon promptly arranged for a replacement. Quality of the shower head is good. Feels heavy. I have a 1 HP Pressure Pump. After opening the tap completely, water flows at full pressure. No leakage from sides. For Hot water, 0.4 hp pressure pump, water pressure is good. Pleasant bathing experience. My House is only ground floor. Hence water pressure is poor. With the geyser pressure pump, water flow is okay. Being 12 x 12 in size, installing a pressure pump for geyser for maximum performance is recommended if is only Ground Floor and First Floor Residence. If it is above two Floor Residence, pressure pump is not required. Also a minimum 18 inch goose neck shower arm is recommended. Satisfied with the product, seller and amazon.

The product worked fairly well for about 18m, but after that it kinda opened up on one of the edges and water started flowing out. Not sure if it has a life of just 18m only, JFYI.

It’s a good product, but be careful. If the water pipe carries sand, it can block the shower holes.
