Does it's job but I'm doubtful whether it is truly 40x or not but for general jewelry and currency checking it is totally worth it. Seems more like 10x - 15x.

Works as expected and is good qiuality and make. Has been working flawless for past six months and gives me very sharp views of whatever I want to investigate. The LEDs are powerful for the close view.

Well built, lense and body is made of plastic, cover is made of aluminum. Brightness of light is very good, would be bit too bright if you are inspecting something of bright colors. Switch is smooth, it's little tricky at first to switch on with light facing down. Magnification looks low but cannot expect more than this. It's not 40X in any way!

MAGNIFICATION IS ABOUT 10X OR 20X

Although the lens is fine the metal cover has rough edges and a not so smooth finish. Feels like one can get a cut with its edges if not handled well

I bought this product with little expectations. But now I can use it to see bubbles inside minerals and hunt for lecheteliarites in genuine Moldavites. Good product. Build quality is decent and it comes with a convenient little case.

As a loupe, it does its job of magnifying objects. It is ergonomic and has great clarity. I'm taking 1 star off because the LED stopped working within a month even though it wasn't used as much.

A lot smaller than I expected, and I have to be right next to the thing I want magnified. That provides for some rather interesting challenges.
