Impressive Tablet! Massive Screen and Incredible Performance!
I recently started using the TECLAST Artpadpro Android 15 Tablet, and it is truly a great device. The first thing that catches your eye is the 12.7” display—the 2176x1600 resolution is sharp, vibrant, and perfect for watching movies or multitasking. What stands out: Massive Screen: The size is perfect for work and media. It feels like a premium canvas, and the colors are very accurate. Smooth Performance: With 20GB of RAM and the latest Android 15, this tablet is lightning fast. I can open multiple apps at once without any lag. Storage: The 256GB of internal space is plenty for all my files, photos, and games. The Pen Experience: It comes with a nice pen that is responsive and great for taking notes or sketching. It makes the "Artpad" name feel well-deserved. Overall, it’s a high-performance tablet at a very competitive price. Whether for work or play, I highly recommend it!

Surprizingly awesome-- an honest review
This review is 100% legit. I paid for this tablet, have no arrangement with the company, bought it because it is a 12.7 inch tablet on sale. I had to try it out. I fully expected it to be cheap standard-Asian-tablet junk and to return it the day after received. I was surprised to find this to be a very nice tablet. So now I own FOUR tablets-- iPad, Fire, Samsung, and now Teclast. Each has its specific use. The first thing to notice is the percentage of 5-star reviews here, currently about 85 percent. Add 4 star reviews and it's up to over 90 percent... which on Amazon is quite high. That should tell us a great deal about tablet quality and performance. Some have compared this model with the Teclast T-65. There is no comparison. The T-65, while it has a large screen, is not an art tablet. It has half the RAM. It has a 20% smaller, less-powerful battery. It has considerably lower screen resolution. The Artpad Pro has a more powerful front camera. Etc etc. To each his own, but the T-65 by no means out-performs the Artpad Pro. ANY item, no matter how good its quality, will have some low reviews. In this case I'd say they're comparing a $279 tablet to an iPad, which is simply expecting too much, unreasonably so. I can see no viable reason for giving this tablet anything under a 4-star review. It is excellent. Overall, the 1-star number is extremely low for Amazon Reviews-- only 2 percent as of this writing. That is an extremely low percentage and can be ignored. Believe the 4 & 5 star reviews. : ) I'm reviewing this for what it is: an Asian tablet that beats other Asian tablets in every way... for around $250 to $300 (depending if it's on sale). Note that many other Asian tablets cost $100 to $150. There's a reason for that: they cut corners. Sharply. The plastic cases do not dissipate core heat. The batteries are cheap and get hot and burn out in a year or less. The RAM is slow and gets hot. The CPU is very slow and gets really hot because of bad head sinks. They last a few months to a year and then die. You'll find this in reviews on cheap tablets. You won't find such problems on this one. The case is metal. The CPU is very fast and quality. The RAM is fast. The battery is great. As far as i can tell, no corners were cut. Mind you, I've had this tablet for less than a month, but I've owned a LOT of tablets... and this passes every test I threw at it. FAST. Not as fast as an iPad of course, but faster than the Amazon Fire (which i consider to be a top-quality tablet with excellent support from Amazon) and at least as fast as the Samsung. I have a specific speed test I run with the advantage I know exactly how it works. This tablet passed that speed test with flying colors, without even getting warm. The screen is awesome. Even positive reviews sometimes complain about wishing it had a more crisp screen... and of course increased resolution is always a "I want that!" thing. But perhaps in this case too demanding. This screen is as crisp and clear as any I have seen. It's far better than my Samsung... and I'm quite impressed with the Samsung. The colors on the Teclast are brilliant, can be altered at the touch of a special button built into this unit for just that purpose, and the lettering is edge-sharp clear. Add to it the fact this is a 12.7 inch tablet (which was a major selling point for me), and that screen is a winner. TOUCH RESPONSE is excellent, better than even my Samsung (which imo can be extremely overly-sensitive, recognizing finger presence before you even touch the screen). The Teclast is just right. THE PEN... meh. This is the "cheap" part of the tablet. Unlike the iPad pencil, this estimated-$30 pen reacts poorly to light-press, draws skippy lines if light pressure is used or you move your hand too fast. The "cure": draw slowly. That's the case even on the Samsung (which comes with its own pencil), so one can't really complain about that, but of course I wish it were better. But again, one should not expect iPad $100 pencil performance from a $300 tablet. Positive note: palm rejection. That's a very nice feature in an art tablet. Still, I recommend a tablet art glove or cotton gloves when using for art, just to prevent skin oils from collecting on the screen. SETUP is easy. Super easy. The Teclast is pure Android with apps thrown in to support their tablet... and has a far better screen appearance than other tablets. Overall, the Teclast rawks. One should not belittle an orange because it's not an apple. (pun intended) ;D As a bonus this tablet can be used as a phone if your provider allows. I don't use it as such (a bit too large to carry around in my pocket), so I can't review that aspect, and I didn't buy it for that feature. What, someone is going to lug around this large tablet and not their cell phone? That's not why I buy an art tablet. Further tests and examination are warranted. But my initial "out of the box" review following setup, speed tests, screen examination and apps use... is excellent. It out-performs every other tablet I've owned save for the iPad. And of course if someone wants an iPad and the Apple world, they would buy an iPad. For the Android field this is great, at a great price. You can believe the high number of 5-star reviews. I've owned everything from an iPad to the cheapest Asian junk-tablets on the market. This outperforms even Samsung on almost every level, and Samsung is a pretty hefty tablet (unfortunately with a whole lotta non-removable bloatware). The 256g of flash memory built into this takes care of any possible bloatware issue-- and the company itself states that a lot of the bloatware specific to this tablet can be removed if one doesn't need that function. That's a nice feature. Smart company. I do dislike the USB-C based headphone. You apparently can simultaneously charge the tablet and use standard headphones with a simple $10 adapter available on Amazon, so that's not insurmountable. THE downside, common to many tablets: there's no guarantee of continued updates from the company. That's a problem with all non-brand tablets I've seen, and even some branded tablets. In this aspect Samsung, Fire and iPad beats it hands down (especially Fire. Wow, what support Amazon gives that tablet. They REALLY want you to be happy with your Fire tablet. ;D ) This product warrants an additional 5-star review. It lived up to every realistic expectation I had, and more.

Great tablet for creativity and entertainment!
Pros - Great, quality build that feels great to hold, bright responsive screen, perfect size and aspect ratio for drawing, editing, as well as streaming content. Large storage capacity for the price for apps, save files, and content. Cons - Doesn't run heavy processing apps well such as 3D games. Accessories options are limited and can take a while to get. Out of the box it was clear that this tablet is very well made. It feels great, lightweight but a solid build. The screen is surprisingly bright and reproduces colors well. The aspect ratio of this tablet is perfect for drawing and taking notes. The size is also wonderful for streaming content. The processor and memory gets the job done but do not expect to be running intensive 3D games. Good thing is that this tablet isn't advertised as such and does what it's supposed to do very well. The storage capacity is spacious and a great value for the price. The ability to expand it via a micro SD card is a nice touch as well. This feature is crucial for people editing and creating photos and other content. Overall this tablet is a strong option for a mid range tablet for both content creation and media consumption. The value here is unmatched and is highly recommended!

My best purchase of 2025
I needed a high performance Android tablet without paying top-tier Samsung prices and also desperately wanted a built-in stylus. I stumbled upon this brand and decided to take a chance, and I’m so glad I did!! For the price, this tablet is outstanding. It handles streaming, apps, and multitasking with no lag. I’ve used it for long Netflix sessions, YouTube, and reading e-books, and the performance has been smooth the whole way through. Battery life has been solid too—I can go a full day of mixed use without worrying about recharging. The screen is big (nearly as big as my laptop!), bright, and sharp. The 2K resolution makes everything—from movies to documents—look crisp, and I especially appreciate the split-screen feature when I’m trying to take notes while watching a video. Speaking of notes, the included stylus pen is a huge bonus. It’s responsive, comfortable to use, and works great for jotting ideas, signing documents, or even some light sketching. I also like that it comes with extra nibs, something most competitors don’t include. Storage is more than generous at 256GB and the fast processor… I never feel like the tablet is struggling, even with multiple apps running. The speakers also surprised me—they’re loud, clear, and way better than I expected at this price point. It’s perfect for watching movies without needing headphones. Another pleasant surprise has been the build quality. It’s thin, lightweight, and feels premium in the hand, not cheap or flimsy. With Android 15 running smoothly, face recognition unlocking, and even AI-powered features for documents, it honestly feels like a device that should cost two times more. Overall, this tablet has exceeded my expectations in every way. If you’re looking for a large-screen Android tablet with a stylus, great display, and strong performance—without spending a fortune—this one is a no-brainer.

Really nice tablet for the money?
What can I say so far I’m impressed. I’m an Apple guy but replacing my iPad was a no go so I researched and this tablet was what I was looking for. Good processor decent memory. My tablet is just an extension of my PC. I was looking for something that I could basically search the web shop on Amazon and watch movies and TV. This fit the bill perfectly. I also love the art pad because it gives me a place Place to write my notes, sketch things out without having to buy a separate tablet just for that. So far it’s worked very well. I had to get used to an android platform but it’s very simple. Just like my PC all the apps work super fast no crashes good updates and very easy to use. The screen is bright. The volume is decently loud when watching movies I haven’t tried to game yet so I couldn’t tell you about the speed but overall, I am very satisfied and for the price point Not bad at all. I do wish it had the ability for an HDMI output because that’s one thing that my iPad has over this I can connect it to the TV. I’ve been in a few hotels that did not have any mirroring availabilitywhere I had to connect direct.

Great tablet, excellent price, beautiful screen 1 major annoyance, buncha small ArtOS irritations
Let me start with saying that this tablet is really good, I agree with what the other reviewers wrote. However, this would easily be 5 starts if not for one major, annoying, and unnecessary feature/flaw. The charging light is ALWAYS on right next to the camera with a bright red light when it's charging and bright green when it's charged. Why is this necessary? It has charging animation, a battery icon with battery % and a notification that it is charging. I tried apps that said they can disable the light, but they didn't work. AI told me to use black tape to cover the light. #ThanksAI Other than this constant annoyance --which I reached out to Teclast about and hope they can provide an answer because Google cannot-- this tablet is pretty good! *Update 9/16, they told me to put tape on the light too! >_< The screen is gorgeous, everything looks great! Sure it's not the fastest tablet but for the price, this is an excellent tablet! It handles most everything I have thrown at it very well - including running Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. The speakers sound good - not great, but good! The tablet feels lightweight when compared to my iPad Air 11 inch or iPad Pro 12.9. I like that it came with an already-installed screen-protector. I always have a hard time installing these things. Haven't tried the pen, cable, or charger it came with - the box is 90% empty, weird, but maybe its shipping protection? Other small things that really irritate me about this tablet that may not bother you: Home screen cannot be fully adjusted, it has a Google Search bar on the top left with a 'turn off' feature, but the space is taken up even if the bar is not there. So you cannot put widgets or icons on the top left row (where I always put my widgets). Taskbar/Dock auto-fills in with suggestions - 5 icons maximum Cannot exit SOME full screen apps/games with swiping up, must wipe left and confirm exit. The annoying bright red light turns into an annoying green/lime light when it's charged, so using this plugged in on my desk with a keyboard (desktop style) is annoying, unless I unplug the tablet from the power source. Smart button on top right (or bottom right if holding portrait) is a fun idea, but limited options make it dull. I like that you can dim the wallpaper, but it only works if you use 'bedtime routine' why is this feature only available there? I guess it's an ArtOS (their operating system) default settings? Too bad we can't change it. Major let down that for Microsoft Exchange accounts that use Authenticator cannot use this tablet because there is no fingerprint sensor and the face-recognition is not secure. At least that's what my job has told me. So I cannot use this tablet for work, other than look at emails on Outlook online, the Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive apps will not. I am on the fence about returning it - going to try some other launchers, but I already know I dislike them all, I like stock Android with customization.

4:3 ratio, pen not great, otherwise good
2 month update: Downgrading my review. With additional use I have decided that the included pen just isn't very good. I have two of these tablets, and while the tablets themselves work well, the pens behave badly on both. The pen thinks it is touching the screen before it is actually touching, and causes unintended marks. I have found this to be very problematic when writing on sheet music (my primary use for the tablets). This problem would also be an issue with note taking and sketching. If you don't plan to use the pen for much, I can still recommend the tablet. If you do plan to use the pen, I have found the TCL 14.3" alternative to be much more accurate. Updated Original Review: Most Android tablets are 16:9 aspect ratio, this one was modeled after the iPad Pro, with a 4:3 aspect ratio, which perfectly fits an 8.5x11 sheet of paper. This is a huge improvement for browsing websites, taking notes, reading PDFs, creating sketches, and for reading sheet music. The performance of this device is very good. The Good: -Screen Size: At 12.7" with a 4:3 aspect ratio, this screen is impressive. It is nearly identical to the sizing and shape of the iPad Pro screen (see my side-by-side photos). This was the main reason I chose this tablet. 99% of Android tablets have a 16:9 ratio, which is great for watching movies, but that's about it. Most of my tablet use has nothing to do with watching movies, so this screen was definitely the right choice. Far better for reading the news, taking notes in class, browsing PDFs, and reading sheet music. I am very happy with the brightness and resolution of the screen, it is easy to use in daylight and the resolution is super crisp and clean. -Performance: As a Google Pixel user of many years, I have a strong preference for stock Android on a device that performs well. While this tablet is not quite stock Android, it is very close, and I haven't uninstalled any bloatware. The extras that are included for artwork do not have any negative affect on performance. My Pixel phones have always performed very well, super snappy performance, never needing restarts, long battery life, they just work. I feel the same about this tablet, running Android 15. If you're an avid gamer and need high end chip sets for your device, maybe choose something more expensive, but if your a normal everyday user, this tablet performs exceptionally well. I have detected zero lag. -MobileSheets: Good aspect ratio for music. The ratio is 4:3, not ideal for watching movies, but good for viewing sheets of paper. -Battery & Charging: The included 30w PD charger powers this tablet up quickly, and the 10,000mAh battery lasts forever. It's roughly the equivalent battery to what they put in the iPad Pro. They set this tablet up well for power. -Body & Bezzle: The steel body is a nice extra they didn't have to include. It gives the tablet a really high end feel. The narrow bezzle also feel high end, much like newer iPads. I am very impressed with the design of this tablet, it looks phenomenal. At 674g it is super lightweight (ipad is 631g), and at 7mm thickness it is sleek and thin (ipad is 6mm). -Palm Rejection: Room for improvement here. I find that my palm tends to make the table think I am trying to scroll, which causes it to change tools in my music app. Not ideal. -Screen Protector: The tablet comes with a screen protector preinstalled. I love this because I hate installing them myself, practically impossible for me to get out all the air bubbles! -Sound: I wasn't expecting the quality of sound this tablet produces. It has 4 speakers that actually do a pretty nice job. I have tested it out with videos and orchestral music performances. They don't sound as good as an external bluetooth speaker, but they are definitely better than what comes out of cell phones! -Storage: 256GB of storage is a huge plus and very generous. You can pay a lot of extra money to go from 64GB to 256GB with an iPad. I'm very happy to have the extra storage space for apps, downloaded Netflix videos, and music! The not so good: -Pen: The pen doesn't work as well as I'd like. After using it for a while, I found that it created a lot of erroneous marks, even when not quite touching the screen. Fine detail is difficult to write cleanly. Does not have wireless charging for the pen (rather than USB-C). The pen turns off after 45 minutes of idle, so the battery lasts an extensive time on a single charge. Strong magnet is nice. -Cameras: This tablet is not going to be winning any awards for its cameras, but that's just fine, my cell phone has great lenses and serves as my primary camera. It's not like I ever took photos with any of my iPads anyhow. It does have two rear cameras at 13MP, one regular and one wide-angle. The front camera is 8MP and does a great job with face unlock. At 720p, the front camera is adequate for Zoom meetings if needed. -RAM: I don't love the claim that this device has 20GB of RAM. It only has 8GB. The "virtual expansion" is a worthless gimmick. If you need more that 8GB, choose another tablet that has 16GB+ of physical RAM. For most people and regular tablet use, 8GB is plenty. I've had zero RAM issues. If you like reading the news on a 4:3 screen, this is a good choice. Can't recommend it for my intended purpose of reading music because of the pen issues, but it's otherwise very good.

Finally affordable, large tablets for my music
I've been using digital music displays since 2009 and have continued to search for the best way to keep all my music at my fingertips. Most of thee have had a pretty hefty price from SamePage computer based to iPad generation 1 and iPad Pro even Samsung View 18.4" which was my favorite display but not the most portable. Purchasing 2 iPad Pros 12.9" finally gave 2 pages at a time but what a cost! that's all background... I came across the 12.7" Teclast ArtPad Pro recently for just under $200 and decided to give it a try. I actually worked well along with the iPad Pro 12.9" and did a video but I was only allowed one video and chose to use the video with 2 ArtPad Pros. These tablets are quite affordable at around $200 and adding MobileSheets Pro as the music app make what I a great Digital Music Stand! I comes with a pencil that works well and memory is expandable with micro SD card. The tablets are andriod but I had absolutely no problem connecting the iPad Pro to these tables and using MobileSheets Pro from both app stores gives you the best music reading app hands down. You can read in the description all the details like charger port and charging, design and other features but bottom line for me it I have an outstanding 2 page digital music stand that has it's own light, is easy to carry and easy to use at a price that no one else comes close to! Oh, the canvas size is the difference in this Android over others because it, like the iPad Pro is closely shaped like a piece of paper. Start scanning you own personal music (you paid for it) many churches are using music services that work with PDF readers and this one is perfect. You can also use it as you would any Android tablet with Android 15.
