Smiffy's Women's 1990's Ginger Power Costume

I am 5'8", and this dress, quite literally, did not cover by butt. The product is not as pictured. It is VERY low cut, so half my bra was showing the entire night. I had to wear a skirt under the dress, since it only covered 2/3 of my behind. It was ridiculous! I would have returned it, except it only arrived an hour before the party I had to attend, so I had no time to shop for another costume. Of course, I will never wear it again. As for the quality of the material, it is a sheer polyester, so you can see through it. I am terribly disappointed. A total waste of money. If you are looking for a Ginger Spice costume, pick one of the other options on Amazon.

I ordered size small, and I am 5'7", 135 pounds. I thought the dress was perfect for my purposes [basically Halloween and other dress-up]. Yes, it's very short, but I love short dresses, the leggy-look is very mod-60's, and Ginger Spice's "dress" is even shorter [more of a shirt on her]. I have a very short torso though, the dress may look shorter on other people. The material is shiny and nice and bright. The material is very thin, but otherwise great for the price. It was exactly what I was looking for.

For a Spice Girls bachelorette party (I was Ginger), this dress worked. I originally ordered a small, but it was far too low and short to work. I wish I could have tried a medium -- I think that size would have worked best, but my time frame didn't allow for that option. I did end up belting the dress; otherwise, it looked like a shift on me which wasn't the look I was going for.

I bought this dress for 90s night at a local bar. It was a huge hit (being a natural redhead helped too). I got so many compliments and two of them were from British people! The only problem I had was the sizing. I fall somewhere in between a 4 and a 6, so I got the small thinking 6-8 was more than enough. Idk if it's because my butt is voluptuous or what but it was super short. Like, forget-bending-over-or-moving-in-general short. I had to wear spandex running shorts underneath, which was fine. I really don't think this dress in a small would look flattering on someone who wears an 8 unless that's the look you're going for, even I wish I had gone with a medium.

This met my expectations! Everyone loved my ginger spice costume! A red wig completed the look. I’m 5’3” and 114 pounds. The dress fit great but it is very short. Taller ladies and gals will need some shorts underneath.

simple and straight forward - it is just what it looks like. I'm about a size 10 and the L fits comfortably, even a little loose. But it's the kind of super snug, super short thing that's better too loose than too tight. SUPER thin material, so I'm putting some shapewear under it, partly just 'cause I need it and partly bc it's just so thin it needs another layer to lay right. And I'm also pairing it with a royal blue push up bra and royal blue dance/cheerleading briefs - this puppy is low cut in front and short in back.

Size Large was way too big. I should have tried the medium size. I’m 5’4 and weigh 130lbs, but Large size looks very loose on me. The stitching is bad and material looks cheap and flimsy, even just as a costume. Gave a one star because the price is really cheap for what it is.

It's v tight and thin but I bought spanx and survived. The black on the bottom is part of my spanx I bought.

This dress is defo spicy!! I’m 5”7 so not that overly talk but my butt literally is viable in this which being a little curvy isn’t necessarily my intention!! So I’ll be wearing leggings with it!! It’s a cute little costume. Maybe wash it first too smells a little funky. But for a non serious dress up outfit it’s cute and I’ll make it work!!! Arrived fast and i like the neck line. Least my boobs aren’t hanging out!!! Cute fancy dress outfit. Especially if you’re petite like ginger spice

So, fir one night only, I was geri. The dress itself is very short.. I had to order this is a large as although the medium fitted, it was soo revealing. The large was slightly longer, allowing my dignity to stay intact.. well, as intact as a geri lookalike could.. lol

Great service with Prime.For price, dresses are fine.Sizing not brilliant, but expectation wasn’t high.I struggle with dresses anyway, but with these being small, medium etc. won’t get a good fit for all. Far too big for some of us up top!Not bad for the price though.

Dreadful. The item stank out of the packet and my wife wouldn't wear it (for a fancy dress party). We.would.have washed it but the care instructions said the colours.would probably run, so.sent it back.
