RM-YD061 Replacement TV Remote Control for Sony KDL-55EX720 KDL-46EX720 KDL-40EX720 KDL-32EX720 KDL-55HX729 KDL-32EX729

The remote that was delivered is the RM-YD059, not the 061 as ordered. The only difference between the two remotes appears to be an extra button for “widgets” that is a blank space on the 061. Otherwise the 059 remote seems to function identically to the 061, just a bit surprised to see a different Sony part number when the remote arrived. The remote did arrive quickly as promised and works as a replacement. Sad to report that this particular 55” Bravia TV no longer supports Amazon Prime or Netflix, but that’s an entirely different matter.

This remote shares a remarkable resemblance to the original see for yourself the only thing that's missing is the Sony logo I bought my 3d Sony TV about 6 years ago and never change the batteries oops my bad, needless to say battery acid* dripped and the remote went DOA, thanks to Amazon I was able to find this remote absolutely no set up required thank you Amazon; price was perfect too. Oh yeah it works just like the original remote.

I wish this remote had shipped with the tvI've had to put up with a non performing remote control for this Sony Bravia tv until I finally received a replacement from Amazon.Amazon saves the day again.Thanks

I didn't buy my Sony RM-YD061 as a standalone. It came with my Sony Bravia TV several years ago. I just stopped to support what someone has already noted. IT CONTROLS FIRETVs AS IS! My understanding is that it's IR and FireTVs are Bluetooth, so I'm guessing there is a standard that allows you to control HDMI sources connected to the TV, so I give you that. But it's how natural it feels doing it. It just so happens it has the circle buttons needed to navigate closely to the FireTV remote. Not exact, but close enough where I haven't missed what's not there.So it sat in a drawer while I was using the remotes from Cable TV services, but I just recently got fed up and went ATO. I was trying to figure out how to jump from the Antenna Input to FireTV to pickup my streaming Live TV services without picking up another remote and Lo and Behold, the ring on the is remote just filled the bill! Okay, maybe I have had too much cafeine, but Dannggg, this is nice!
