Nespresso was what I usually drink. This is what I will drink from now on, great all round coffee☕️
To say my husband is a coffee expert is an understatement, he absolutely loves his coffee and as he drinks it black with nothing else and gets the full tasting experience. He’s tried lots of premium brand over the years and for the most part settled on the Nespresso capsules. It was pure luck that I stumbled across coffee bags on Amazon, after purchasing them and my husband trying them he likes all the flavours of kings coffee, including the decaf which he says you can’t tell is decaf. One thing that he would like, is for Kings coffee to have more coffee blends. Hopefully they plan to in the future. The ease of use in the coffee bags is perfect. Especially if you’re travelling. We’ve taken them to a hotel, you don’t have to carry around any machines to enjoy your coffee a simple kettle is all you need. Quite ingenious when you think about it, something so simple but done in such an excellent way. I’ve tried them myself and found them very nice. I prefer a more mild coffee and the light blend is perfect for me. After the kettle is boiled we let them sit in the mug with hot water for 3 to 4 minutes to get the full flavour out of the bag. Squeeze the bag out as much as possible, you don’t want to leave any of the flavour inside. Another nice feature is that all the packaging including the bags are either compostable or recyclable. Definitely try it you won’t regret it.

Great tasting coffee in a convenient coffee bag
This is one of the best coffees I've tasted. Rich and smooth flavour with tasting notes of caramel and orange blossom. Coffee bags are the perfect way to serve a fresh morning coffee.

I am impressed
Whenever I see coffee with a best before date that is 18 months in the future my heart sinks - good freshly roasted coffee simply doesn't keep its flavour that long. I also have to confess that having tried other brands of coffee bags I was not a huge fan of them. These are different though, I still have my doubts about the long date on them, but right now they really are brewing a very decent cup of coffee with some nice flavours, and all with the convenience of just throwing them in a cup for a few minutes with some hot water. Very simple, very quick, not messy and very passable coffee.

Convenience comes with caveats
I've always wondered why coffee doesn't come in bags like tea and this settled my curiousity. This medium blend from New Kings Coffee comes in a big resealable bag with 100 coffee bags. I like my coffee strong; black with no sugar, and my quick and easy go to is a ground coffee in an Aeropress. Having tried this, I really struggled to find it hit the spot. Arguably it is a medium roast, but even after having let it steep for 5-6 mins and squeezing the bag until it had nothing left to give, the resulting coffee just tasted a little bland. It's very mellow, smooth and easy going on the palette, but it's missing the depth of flavour. I did find that using this in an iced coffee was nice as it's smoothness was nicely complimented with a vanilla or caramel syrup. And one of the main draws with these bags is the convenience. It's certainly a step above freeze dried soluble coffee, so I would prefer to take a few of these bags on holiday. The bags are well made and certainly do a good job when brewing the coffee; being porous enough to even let out some small grounds. What I am however pleased with is the eco credentials since the bags are compostable and that the product is made in the UK. Arguably, the size of the package, weight to deliver and manufacturing effort in creating these may likely offset any eco gains when compared to a smaller bag of pre ground coffee. But it is good to see that not only is the coffee ethically sourced, but New Kings Coffee is consistent in it's approach throughout the product. Ultimately, based on the cost of these bags and the watered down mild taste, this won't be replacing my ground coffee, but I would be interested in trying a darker roast to see if the flavour, coupled with convenience can trump the value issue.

Pricey but nice
These are twice the price of my usual brand, but I like them enough to want to keep buying them.

Great tasting coffee
The coffee itself is a good grade Arabica and smells delicious when you inhale the smell coming out of the bag, which has a little valve on the outside to keep the coffee in good condition, do they take linger then instant coffee yes but the pay of is that this coffee is way better tasting, and will easily put you on the right foot in the morning. I use these at work as they are convenient and quick. If you like your coffee black (how it should be drunk) then these would be perfect for you in my opinion just dont squeeze them like a tea bag or your end up with coffee grains at the bottom of the cup Good value for money
