Good Morning Everyone,Assembling was easy. The tubes took the longest to assemble and strategically placed them on each floor and outside the cage. Overall, the process was better than I expected. I have a Syrian hamster who is long-haired and much bigger than the short-hair ones. I was nervous the tube would be too small for her. I tested one out by assembling one and placing it in her older cage. She sniffed at it and went through it with no difficulty. Half the battle was over!! (smile)I reinforced the wired walls and the roof with small cable ties because she likes to be Harriet Houdini (lol). As a customer mentioned, the wheel is way too small for a Syrian hamster. Before I purchased this awesome cage, I purchased a super large standing wheel for her older cage, and she absolutely loves it. With that in mind, I had to make a significant modification to the new cage. My husband cut two openings (new and old cage), and I connected them together with cable ties. Her food/drinking and sleeping areas and the large wheel remained in the older cage. Now, Little Allie Running Cloud (her name) has a duplex (super big smile).The only thing that was a slight setback was the little blue/white house. She explored the tiny house and tried to exit from the circular window. However, she became stuck. I gently guided her out of the window. Needless to say, I had to discard the little house for her safety. The tiny house is not for a Syrian hamster. Not to worry, Little Allie had other stuff to play or snuggle inside (coconut house and ladders).I love my new cage, and I am sure Little Allie will also!! I do have to figure a way to make the tubes (between the floors) less steep because right now, the two tubes may be too hard for her to climb up to the top floors. I will observe her more once she becomes comfortable with her extended home. Thank you for making this awesome home! This is probably the biggest waste of money I've encountered in a long time. The tubes are not the same sizes so half of the pieces couldn't even be put together, the shelves fall off, the pieces are so cheaply made it took 2 hours. TWO HOURS. to put this together. It is an absolute waste of money and would not ever recommend to anyone.

We have had this brand of cage through 3 generations of ratties. So easy to clean. Easy to reorganize to however you feel that day. After a few years, they will chew through the tabs holding in the levels and you will need to replace them.

This cage is so cool but it takes a while to put together. You need about an hour at minimum to put together. To clean it, it takes longer bc you have to clean the tunnels. My daughter's hamster is a small dwarf hamster so do not use this cage for an animal this small. The pet escapes all the time. It would be suitable for a regular size hamster. We had to buy a different glass cage for our hamster. Great cage though for a larger hamster! I didn't want to give a bad review bc the cage is great, it's just not a good idea for a dwarf hamster.

After anxiously awaiting the cages arrival, we are disappointed in the quality and preparation. The instructions do not help you in any form and looking at the pictures posted online and in the picture, there is absolutely no way you can have it set up like it looks. The wheel is not even big enough for a syrian hamster!! Definitely not worth the money paid and we are very disappointed.

We bought our kids a hamster a little over a week ago, and this looked like a good option for a habitat. My son wanted to make sure that anything we bought would have tubes that he would be able to change around to make things interesting. It also comes with a water bottle, food tray, wheel, and hidey house. The water bottle is worthless (it leaks out the entire contents in a few minutes), and the wheel is noisy and too small for a Syrian hamster (the hamster looks like it is going to break it's back while running on it and it is only 6 weeks old at this point.) As many others have suggested, it is somewhat difficult to put together given the instructions provided. We looked up the photos on Amazon to get it together somewhat correctly. Cleaning is not easy. The ramps provided are ok, but the prongs that go into the floor levels break easily (2 of them were broken on arrival). The tubes become disgusting within a day due to the hamster's bodily excretions, and they are fairly frustrating to take apart and put back together to clean. This is probably an issue with any wire cage, but the hamster gets food, bedding and excrement all over within an 8 to 12 inch distance from the cage. Also, the plastic floors/levels are difficult to get in place and stay in place so many times are not level or not very secure. We will be buying a new habitat, but at this price point, it isn't horrible, just not very user friendly. Be prepared to replace the water bottle and likely the wheel when you get the cage.

The description says it works for mice but they all escaped. Bars are too wide. They need to take mice off the list of animals this cage is for!

We purchased this product for grandson's birthday,the first thing you do after unboxing is throw away the directions,then pull up a picture of this Cage on amazon,and the build will be a breeze,you will need some needle nose pliers to pinch the wall hooks closed,to keep it from falling apart everytime you touch it,the roof panels will stabilize the whole structure when after you assemble the top tubes and install them,the water bottle is a joke , maybe holds 4oz of water,gotta upgrade that soon,but we are very pleased with this purchase.....of more cheap China crap!
