Simply wow for odour
Firstly, I accidentally bought one size too large. Unfortunately, because of that, they feel a bit odd and tend to bunch up at the back. That said, I canโt overstate how long these can be worn without developing any noticeable smell. For me, that area of the body usually starts to smell heavily after just a single day in regular cotton briefs. With these, however, there is virtually no smell at all. Iโve worn them for up to three days, and even then, youโd have to really try to notice any odour and itโs still not bad. For hiking or extended off grid trips, these are excellent. In those situations, I do use wet wipes twice daily to stay fresh. However, my three day test was done without any freshening up at all. Bloody amazing. Iโd estimate you could wear these for well over seven days before they smell as much as a cotton pair would after just one day. I donโt use them with the intention of being unhygienic, but when youโre trying to carry more water or food and space is limited, having just two pairs of these could easily cover you for extended periods in the wild. Iโm genuinely amazed at how odour resistant they are. I also own merino wool socks and thermals, and they perform just as well in terms of odour control. Iโm now looking forward to replacing more of my hiking gear with merino wool. The only downside is the cost t-shirts are particularly expensive for what they are, often close to ยฃ40 each.

Anti odour properties cannot be understated.
I just used these to hike up a steep hill, camp on the top, hike back down, and sit around at home in them all day. I took them off and let them air for 20 minutes and smelled them and they still smelled incredibly fresh. Without going into too much detail, I get quite sweaty even sitting around let alone climbing a hill. If I had worn cotton ones they'd be soaking wet by now and probably transferring moisture onto seats when I sit down. Synthetic/spandex type ones may well be dryer but would be smelly. By comparison I notice the wool is slightly damp but crucially still super warm, and as I say not smelly at all. It really is a game changer.

Worked as designed and bettee
Used 3 pairs on 10 day trek to Everest base camp. Where the weight you bring matters. No chafing and no odor. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Yee pl
Would absolutely be 5 stars if they weren't build like a cheap castle (as in, there's no Ballroom.) Very flat front. Fine if you like the compression sensation, I suppose, or giving anyone who might catch a look a VERY clear outline of the equipment you were born with.

Warm and soft, but do ride up
I've never thought of merino as underwear material - though I've had plenty of socks made with them - and with my job being a bit colder I figured they might work well for insulating while still having some breathability... They are just as soft as I'd expect from merino, and do warm while still breathing well; if not wearing clothing on top, you can definitely feel air coming through, which had me worried at first, but I was definitely toasty once pants were on. The waistband is comfortable, and fit correctly, and the length is good, but I noticed right away that the stretchiness of the fabric itself meant they don't stay down as well as tighter pairs. You could possibly size down to fix this, but then would lose some of the insulation Wearing tighter pants would cause more of an issue, especially if you sit and stand a lot while wearing, but these are best paired with looser fitting pants for comfort - and you're staying warm either way. Not bad for the price, but I don't think I'll be replacing all of my pairs anytime soon!

Warm and comfy
Love these! Though I just started wearing them, they appear to be well made and long lasting. Look forward to using them on a trip to Germany next month. Just hand washed them and they dry pretty quick. Thank you

Poor quality
6 months of ownership and have holes already. Seams and quality of material are thin and poorly made. Does not compare to the other brands.
