Some reviews complained of it being messy or tangled; I guess if you look at it up close it does look a ragged, but maybe because my hair is dark, when it's on it just looks like a curly, slightly messy (but intentionally so) bun, and I've worn one of these pretty much every time I have to appear "put together". After a month, they are still in good condition. Pull my hair into a ponytail, add this, and done--takes 2 minutes. Looks nice.
