Kenneth Cole Reaction Home Soft & Cozy Reversible Cotton Woven Blanket - King - Taupe

I love how thin this is, but it looks like it's been used. I know it's supposed to be a "lived in" look. But it's more of a "worn out" look. It looks 10 years old.We'd like to be the ones who gave it this look. But we never got the chance.I reached out and asked about this a week or two ago. But I never received a reply, so I'll be returning it.Not worth it in my opinion.Photos show the blanket fresh out of its packaging.

This blanket is definitely worth the money. Similar cotton/linen blankets on Etsy and eBay go for double the price (or more!) for king size. The texture and feel of this blanket is exactly what I was looking for. And it looks even better after washing! This blanket produces A LOT of lint but I don’t mind because it came off in the dryer. However, I suggest laundering/drying the blanket on its own. I washed with cool water and air/fluff dried in the dryer. The blanket did not seem to shrink at all. My bed measures 80” x 74” but there is still plenty of room on the bottom and sides to hang nicely (about 14” on either side). I think the sizing is spot on. You can see my attached images (excuse the ugly pillows - this blanket is my first step in beautifying my bed). Note: This blanket does not hold up to dog/cat nails and there is already a few snags after only a couple nights of sleeping. But that is okay for me because I like the blanket’s look and the price is unbeatable. Also, I plan to layer this blanket with more throws and thin layers so the snags probably won’t be noticeable anyway. As for temperature, it is perfect for me and my boyfriend (who runs way hotter than I do). I might use an extra layer but this blanket is surprisingly warm. I love it! Also, it claims to be reversible - which it is, as you can see in the pictures. But I don’t think I would use the other side on top (that’s just me though).

This blanket is lovely, and has the style of a pleasant mix of minimalist and boho. The fabric is definitely cotton, but has a refined texture that reminds me of a cotton-linen blend. A very lightweight, breathable blanket that will be perfect for hot summer nights, although it could possibly be used as a spread over heavier blankets. I washed it before using; it did not shrink or do anything else that some reviewers claim cotton blankets do. It's important to remember that cotton does shed lint when washed, it is more likely to snag than other fabrics are, and cotton has a rougher feel to it than the modern microfibers do. Those are the realities of cotton. A huge plus is how natural cotton feels when compared to, say, sleeping under microfiber. Cotton is excellent for people who tend to be warm sleepers. As for the color I ordered (taupe), it's a medium beige. It is not rosy, yellow, or grey, but is a true neutral beige. One side of the blanket is a slightly light beige, the other side a slightly more medium beige. The two sides are almost the same color. This blanket has a border that gives it a finished, classy appearance. I'm giving the blanket a 5-star rating.

Like others have said, it’s an incredibly soft muslin blanket. Yes, it is very light. The lightness of the blanket actually allows it to breathe while still keeping you surprisingly warm. I can only assume that the people who thought the lightness of the material equated to shitty quality don't understand the point of this type of cloth, which is to keep you at the perfect temperature, no matter how hot or cold it is in the room. It’s the perfect blanket for summer in NY. It'll also be an awesome blanket for layering in the winter.I’m not sure if it shrank for me; it doesn’t cover the entire king sized bed lengthwise, but it hangs off the sides by a comfortable 6 inches on each side. It's long enough to cover the bed from the edge of the pillow to the foot of the bed. I washed with hot wash/cold rinse and dried on medium.My only qualm is that it’s kind of expensive for the weight, which is why I gave it 4 stars. I would expect this to be about $25, $35 max if it didn’t have the Kenneth Cole tag on it. It's even more ridiculous that baby blankets that are 1/4 the size of this are priced at the same amount.

Like a muslin baby blanket. Thin and soft yet durable and holds up to washing very well. Perfect for summer. I loved it so much I ordered a second in a different color!
