Feel's like a knock-off pair
This almost looks and feels like a knock-off set of Oakley sunglasses. I've owned several pairs in the past, both plastic and metal frame, and they've all had a solid feel to them, these feel like the cheap glasses you buy at the mall kiosk where your pay $20 for 3 pairs. The item description states "Made in USA" but these are clearly stamped "CHINA" on the inside of the frame. The frame looks to be spray-painted a dark metallic silver, the nose pads were crooked, I had to adjust them to not feel like someone was holding my nose pinched tight, the lenses easily get dirty and smudged, the metal frame is very weak and not as rigid as most other Oakley metal frame glasses. This is surely not what I'm use to from Oakley sunglasses. These are definitely NOT worth the $160 price tag, if anything maybe half of that. I'm not sure if the polarized pair is better quality, but I doubt it since all they do is throw polarized lenses on the same frame. The only reason I may even consider keeping these is because I have difficulty finding a curved/wrap-around pair of aviator style sunglasses.

Solid typical Oakley quality, but not dark enough.
Typical Oakley lens quality, I've owned Oakleys since the original blades in the 80's and these have the typical quality level to them. The tint is typically very color neutral which I like.I've got a pretty big head and these are a fairly large set of frames and fit me well, which is a constant issue with a lot of sunglasses. These are roughly the size of the early original Gargoyle type. They are typically light weight and have a comfortable bridge and they stay in place well too.The only down side is, these are the darkest lenses that Oakley makes and frankly they are not dark enough for me. it's not just Oakley but there must have been a law suit or something years back, you just cannot get truly dark sunglasses anymore aside from the strict mountaineering glasses with the round lenses and blinders on the side. These just barely get the job done for me in bright sunlight. I wish there were much darker lenses available.

It's okay... lenses not dark enough for brightest conditions
I purchased these with the goal of having sunglasses for the brightest driving conditions. According to some research I did online, these lenses (Black Iridium) are pretty much the darkest ones that Oakley offers... only 10% light transmission, and the 'iridium' coating is supposed to reduce glare. That sounded good to me. However, now that I've got them, I can't see any improvement for really bright conditions compared to other Oakley (and other brands) that I've tried. These are fine; but I expected strong protection from these lenses and they don't really deliver. Driving into direct morning sun and driving home at night with the sun setting off to my front-left overpowers these lenses. Maybe I'm expecting too much, but these lenses are advertised as being for 'intense sunlight conditions'; that's what I needed, and they are not 100% up to the task. Other than that, the sunglasses fit pretty well, they are light, comfortable, and they are pretty fashionable. I wish they wrapped around just a little bit more to give a little more side coverage. Good product; but not great.

all day comfort and great optics
I have been wearing these for about a month and so far I am loving the comfort and style. I have always had an issue where the side arms of glasses would put slight pressure on the sides of my head above my ears when doing something physical and wearing them. I have had zero issues with this. I have a slightly larger than average head and these are very comfy and never feel like they will fall off. Optics are great with no glare while still being able to view colors pretty naturally.

Dont believe they are fake
After reading some of the reviews of people saying these were fake, I did some research. Turns out many of the metal frames for Oakley are now made in China and will have that printed on the arm. Oakley has also started using the P stinker on the lens for polarization as well as the etching in the lens. As far as I can tell, these are as real as they get, if you still have doubts when you get these glasses you can ask Oakley yourself and they will verify them for you.

Exactly what we were looking for
Ordered these for my boyfriend. He has had a few pairs of these and loves how they fit. They are discontinued so he can't find them in stores anymore so he was happy we found them online. They fit him perfectly. They arrived in great condition. Very happy with the purchase.

Not good. Not bad. Not...much of anything really.
Someone commented on the 'made in china' issue. Yes, made in China my sunglasses were. Okay so perhaps Oakley makes then there now so that's okay to pay two hundred bucks then. No, not really. My last Oakley pair were phenomenal. These are a disgrace. If you were hoping to get a nice pair of sunglasses you will. But you won't be getting the Oakley you thought you were paying for. These, really, really, really are just a fraction better than my $20 'shades' I bought knowingly made in China. The only reason I won't insist on a return is because they fit my gf soooo good. She looks like a total $itch and it's hilarious! That made these worth two-cluckers. But I the odds of you having the same reaction is low. So, I'd go to a mall and not gamble if you're looking for the real thing. The good stuff;Shiny chrome lenses are pretty cool on a hot chick. The hinge(s) on the frame will last a while but not if given a beating. The polarization is mid range to weak in my opinion. Not the same as my prior pair of 'original' O's.The bad stuff; They're made in China. Are more words necessary?Oh, the frames legs are just not long enough...hence why the gf got them. It's just that...I really thought and hoped...I really wanted these to be good...dammit.

I'm Returning Them
As a 20+ year Oakley user, I wanted to like these but I just couldn't. The nose pads were uncomfortable and the temples hurt my ears after about an hour. The lenses had a bit of a deep purple cast to them and just weren't what I was expecting. The overall size and shape was nice, but not enough to offset the comfort issues. Will be getting the Crosshairs instead...
