Best Non-Rx Formula for Us
My dog has early kidney disease. She is an 11 year old GSD. We used a few different prescription only dog foods for almost two year. My dog had reactions to all of them. She would get ear infections, get itchy hot spots, loose stools. Forza food is expensive but it didn't require a prescription and it got good reviews so I thought I could see how it goes. We had already wasted money on expensive Rx brands. First impression was wow. The kibble doesn't look like cheap puffy children's cereal, similar to an Rx brand. The kibble appears to be more dense and better quality than others. They are shaped like squares and hearts. After a month I immediately noticed a difference. Her fur started to grow back, no more itching or pulling fur out. Also, I feel like she was able to absorb more of the food because she isn't pooping out as much as with the other foods. Plus she loves to eat it. I have used this food for well over a year and I am very happy. I highly recommend. I am not a veterinarian. I am sharing my experience with this product as a customer only. Always consult your vet for your pets individual needs.

Quality food, ingredients matches expensive prescription food
I was worried about some of the lower reviews that my pup would not eat this as he is a picky eater. He was recently diagnosed with kidney disease. My vet sells prescription k/d food and will not authorize me to get it for lower cost elsewhere. So, shopping around I went and landed on this dog food and after a lot of research decided to go for it. I am glad I did as my finicky pup eats this stuff. Bear in mind the food is made for animals not humans so your opinion on how appealing the food is to you does not matter nor should count in the review. Reviews should be restricted to whether or not your pup likes it, will eat it, and if their stool changes after proper introduction and change to this food occurs. The important take away is does your dog like it, eat it, and is happy with it. My answer to all of these is a resounding yes. The prescription with vet approval food cost around $125 for about the same size bag. Personally I don't think it smells any different than most other quality dog foods. My pups stool remains unchanged after properly migrating him over from the prescription to the Forza10. I highly recommend trying this food but bear in mind that it is not returnable which is the only downside I could find. However, I have another pup that will eat anything and everything so I could always give it to her. Overall I am happy with my purchase and will continue to purchase.

Try try again
My dog would not eat prescription dog food. She did at first, than about six months absolutely refused to eat it wet or dry. Some one gave me a sample and the dog loved it. Found it on Amazon. Life saver for my dog. She lived with kidney problems for over 4 years and was 17 when she died. Doctor never heard of it, but had no problem with it.

Good Product
The dog liked the taste right away and it really looks like a quality product. I am a licensed vet tech and I was happy with the ingredients. Just like human food, so much pure quality comes from Italy. My dog is 16 years old and has elevated kidney levels, but not yet in kidney failure, so I'm hoping this will slow down progression. I'm going to wait a month or so and retest him. I try to stay away from science diet because of all the chemicals they add to their food so I'm pretty happy with both the ingredients and my doggie's response. He loves the food.

Finally a renal support food my dogs like!
Finally found a food my dog’s like! I found out 4 months ago 2 of my dogs are in early stages of kidney failure. They’re 12 years old and have some other health issues as well. So I order the prescription renal diet foods the vet suggested. My dogs didn’t like it. I tried a few brands and every flavor they made. For those of you in the same position you know that’s a lot of money . But the worst part is my girls hating their food with everything else they’re going through. So I’ve fed this food along with the wet version for 2 days now and my girls eat it right up. I’ve seen no digestive issues. I’ve cancelled all orders for the prescription food and now have this food arriving every month. The hard and soft were both packaged carefully to avoid damage.

I dont know if this is normal
I recently purchased a bag of Forza10 dog food (please find attached a photo of the product and kibble). Upon opening and transferring the food to a container, I noticed that the kibble appears excessively greasy and oily, which is very unusual and concerning. My dog has been eating Taste of the Wild with no issues, and I was transitioning him to Forza10 based on the product’s reputation for being hypoallergenic and safe. However, due to the appearance and strong oily smell, I’m hesitant to continue feeding it to him without confirmation that this is normal and safe.

Expiration Date
It arrived within a week, I just received it and saw that the expiry date is May 2022... which means my 17lb (8kg) dog has 2.5 weeks to finish the entire bag?! And the label states that it was produced in 2020.
