Works great, but it is quite heavy, especially if you need to lift it to empty the metal is has collected.

I had one of these from Harbor Freight that recently broke. I ordered this one as it seemed a little stronger and I had to use it as soon as I opened it! They are great if you are like me and drop nuts and bolts all over the place under or behind a tool desk or workstation.

The orange box is EXCELLENT! Super easy to spot on the shelf in the garage! What is inside is also nice and functional. Had to fish out nut from ZTR. Easy peas...

Works but poorly made. Handle immediately came loose/was not glued in properly. Wrench included was slightly too large. Wish it was slightly longer, at six feet I need to hunch over to use it. It does however a great job of picking up nails etc.

Does as intended. Proff in the picture. Only with the wheels could be a little more adaptable to diffrent ground types. They tend to snag on lose rocks easily.

Love them. Used 2 times in 3 days. Works great.

Great little tool. I built a chicken coup and had a ton of screw grindings and other metal bits strewn across the ground. I picked up as much as I could as I went. I was afraid the chickens would eat the metal bits and get sick. I covered the coup with a thick layer of straw to prevent the chickens from digging, but they dug into the ground anyway. The coup is done but this tool came in the mail. I was cleaning the coup out for the last time before the winter and decided to use this to see if there were any more metal bits and holly crap did I leave a lot on the ground. Must have picked up a pound of little metal bits, perfect size for curious chicken mouths. I just feel bad now and wonder how much metal the chicken already eat. I'm happy I have this now and will be using on every job.

This is one of those rare purchases where what you get is of significantly higher quality that the price would imply. Almost immediately after receiving delivery of this item, I was able to put it to good use. A bottle cap fell down the drain, open end down, and because the spring steel claws were very sharp they were able to grip the smooth hard plastic. The light worked very well! The action of the retractor spring is smooth and very strong making manipulation very easy. I wish I'd had this tool for retreiving all the nuts and bolts dropped into dark recesses while working on my vehicles' engines over the years. I almost look forward to the next time I drop something. I recommend this item unreservedly!

to my utter surprise I managed to locate the 4 1" panel pins and the 3 glazing sprigs I managed to drop on an area 30m x 4m of less than smooth concrete where soft pawed animals transit, it works!

A present to my son who was extremely pleased as he has to get into odd places to mend radar and ordinary torches are too big.

This telescopic magnetic pickup tool is one of things that you never knew you needed it until you do! The tool is made of stainless stell and extends to 31.5" from an 'at rest' length of 8", making it very portable indeed. The all-important magnetic end has good magnetic properties, with a rotatable, hinged end to allow it to adapt to various situations. The rubber handle is moulded with finger grips allowing the tool to be used easy and comfortably. So far I've used it to retrieve items from underneath my reclining sofa and also stuck between car seats and it has been very effective. It is excellent value for money for a little tool that is very handy to have available for when required.
