After one week
I've been wearing these gloves for a week now. The are very thin, very lightweight and not particularly wind resistant. They are not warmer than my much, much cheaper wool gloves although they are much thinner. The big problem I am already seeing with them is they are very delicate and normal use is taking a toll on them. The are getting fuzzy very quickly and I've already snagged them a couple of times. This is with < 10 hours of use. The XL gloves are definately not XL. I would consider them a medium. Yes, they are very stretchy so they do stretch over my hands, but the fingers are not as long as my fingers, so its like having webbed hands to wear them. The cuffs are exceptionally short and they are more on my hand than my wrist. Bottom line, there are a lot better gloves you can get than these for much, much less money.-------------After more time with these gloves I have found a very good use for them... As mentioned, they are not very big but they do make excellent glove liners for my other regular wool gloves. As a combo they are very, very warm.

did a lot of research on these sweet puppies and am not disappointed
did a lot of research on these sweet puppies and am not disappointed. soft and seriously warm, I cannot recommend them more highly. I originally bought a pair of theretofore unheard of pure soft merino wool gloves exactly TWENTY years ago in the real patagonia of argentina and have always adored them... so these new possumdown blends were to be their replacement! also doing business with sweater chalet was a breeze... highly responsive and friendly with a swift turnaround. excellent purchase and worth every penny. 🙌

Pretty happy with these
The price here is a little outrageous. You can find these for about half as much elsewhere if you search but this was the only place I could find the smaller sizes or any color other than black.I’m using these on a thru hike of the PCT. I haven’t needed them much but when I have, they’ve worked great. Kept my hands warm in a driving snow storm even after they soaked through. If my hands do get icy cold, I love putting these on. They reflect so much heat back at you, it almost feels like they are heated. My only complaint would be the cuff is extremely short. I wish the were just slightly longer so there isn’t a line of exposed wrist between the gloves and my sleeve.

Can't believe it, but they do seem to live up to the hype! Love them. Works for HUGE hands.
I was afraid they were just a gimmick, but they are soft and warm and fluffy and feel great. The largest size fits very large hands. I was worried because 2 members of my family have such large hands that finding gloves of any kind is a challenge. So if you can easily palm a basketball without trying or have nearly a 2 octave range on piano, these gloves can fit you.Ordered the much smaller size for me!

warm and soft
Warm in 40-50 degree weather, but not below that. I have a small hand and these barely came over my wrists. Considering returning them for the medium.

Lightweight and warm
Purchased these for my daughter for winter wear across campus in centeral Illinois. I was a bit skeptical when I opened the package. They reminded me of $2.99 type glove you can pick up anywhere. However according to my daughter they are very warm and the wind does not blow thru them. She is very happy with the gloves. They are lighteweight and warm..

PossumDown awesome!
Superb gloves! Just used them on a backpacking trip in the High Peaks area of NY state in late Oct and was warm and cozy. Gloves are very well made and dried quickly when I got them wet. Love these gloves!

The privilege of using Amazon
These are nice gloves -- this combination of yarns is quite light and warm. However, I learned after the fact that I was charged $10 more by ordering through Amazon rather than the distributor. I feel ripped off -- 25% more because I used Amazon. I will most definitely watch for this type of extortion in the future.
