The netting is a perfect fit for my brimmed hat and securely rests on my shoulders, keeping the biting black flies away. I bought the grey netting, but it has a greenish hue, which is fine. I chose grey because I read that the Tsatsie Fly is attracted to dark colors. The stuff sack is small, and the netting is delicate and lightweight, making it easy to carry around. It provides effortless protection when you don't want to spray bug spray or add an extra layer of clothing to avoid bugs.

We used the mosquito mesh nets while on our vacation to Australia. There are certain areas there that have issues with gnats and sand flies. The mesh nets were great and protected our faces from the bugs. We have decided to travel with these all the time now, because folded up they are small and don't take a lot of space in the suitcase. My sister said she was going to use the net for when she mows her grass this summer. The nets were really effective.

As described. Only problem (Not a defect) I had with them is, I couldn't see super well while trout fishing, but I would trade that for not getting hammered with black flys.They do their job well and were inexpensive.Arrived quickly.

Great for keeping the bugs and gnats out of your face while doing yard work. Just try to do it on a cooler day as these nets will reduce any breeze and warm you up a bit - but, to keep the bugs away is worth it!

At certain times of the year where I live, there are gnats everywhere. It makes mowing the lawn a really unpleasant chore - fighting off those little buggers (their bites are VERY annoying and the itching takes weeks to go away!) is a pain. So I thought I'd give this mesh headgear a try. It works wonders! I wear a baseball cap to keep the sun off my balding head, and noise reducing headphones while I mow, and this mesh headgear easily fits right over both and covers my bare face and neck right down to my shoulders. It's lightweight and stays in place and is easily removable. It comes with a small storage pouch that will easily fit into my pocket when not in use, and I put it in a mesh bag to launder. The gnats still buzz around, and even land on the mesh headgear, but I don't get bit anymore! Hooray!

Keeps gnats off good, but is hard to see through sometimes

In the spring we have a few weeks (2-3) when the little gnats and tiny flies make it very difficult to be outside. Without any protection you end the day with a dozen little nips or itchy spots on head, ears, neck, etc. Chemicals slathered all over exposed skin does help but I hate the feel of all that junk on my face and neck and they STILL get your ears! These little nets are perfect. Light. Comfortable and with their own little bag to put the net back into for storage. Glad I bought them!

I was skeptical at first, but wow was I surprised, it keeps all bugs out.

These head coverings are superb when the Scottish midges are out in force these head coverings are an absolute necessity

they work well. work well over wide brim hats. more weight in the string would help to keep you covered.
