I have one installed in my 2003 ram 1500 QC SLT model with 7 spkr infinity sound system. You will need the dash adapter kit which requires you to remove the center radio bezel from the radio dash panel and install the double-din bezel. You will also have to cut out a portion of the plastic "sub dash" underneath the stock radio mounting hole. If you have the 7 speaker infinity OEM amp, you may or may not need a special harness to connect the stereo and retain use of your amplifier. You may also need an additional adapter if your vehicle has radio controls on the steering wheel and you wish to retain that function. You will also need to figure out how you want to run the rear usb ports/cables out to the dash if you want to hook up a phone and use apple car--play or android auto. I did the install myself ~4months ago and am very happy with the unit. There are some outfits that make s backup camera integrated into a replacement tailgate handle for 03-05 RAM. The install was complex but entirely feasible by a home diy-er. All features work as intended. Sound quality is great and works well with my OEM amp and speakers. My vehicle is too lod to make use of the idatalink OEM integration features.The biggest area of improvement is the Kenwood weblink functionality. First, WAZE app no longer supports the weblink interface so it is no longer available under the weblink menu. Second, the app selections under weblink is very limited and redundant with whats available under AndroidAuto. Initial setup of weblink software was somewhat flaky, not working at first, but spontaneously working on its own after a day or two. The youtube app under weblink is the only unique offering that is not supported under androidauto. Again, initially the videos would not play but started working spontaneously after a day or two. Overall, weblink really does not offer enough functionality to use it over the androidauto software. What would be nice is if weblink offered an app that offered the capability of importing standard apps not yet supported under androidauto or simply offered a native android "desktop" allowing installation of 3rd party android apps. If you are buying this headunit for weblink functionality, you will probably be disappointed in the long run. AndroidAuto and CarPlay offer more functions and will likely be better maintained over time.Buying this headunit was a great value over the similar but more current DDX8906s model. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Device *by J***S on Reviewed in the United States on August 27, 2019* I installed this in a 2000 Crown Victoria and I am extremely pleased.
