This item I have been using it now for almost a year and I had not problem with it at all. It is easy to connect and to travel with it around., It has also a good amount of storage space. Useful. ZK

Stay mindful of expiration dates. You snooze, you loose.
Refurbished Hard Drives -Buyer beware. At my age I should have known better, or at the very least have used it before the ninety day warranty expired. Procrastinated thinking I might return it because of the Privacy Policy. The only issue as far as I know at this time the password protection out of the box doesn't function. My number one consideration for purchase was the password protection. Can't at this point trust it. The last thing any of us need is to load up an external hard drive with lots of important stuff and it go bonkers. I've been fortunate. In the twenty years I've used hard drives it has only occurred once. Not good. No more refurbish for me.
