The pros are that it's easy to use, polish consistency is fine, and the cat eye effect is definitely prominent and beautiful, with a lovely green-blue shift (the blue is usually only visible in sunlight). The only thing that was a bit disappointing is that the base color is actually a darker purple brown, not the mauve lavender shown in the listing, which was really the reason why I got it. I don't hate it, but ultimately it's not what I was expecting.

I love these Cat Eye gel polishes. I've ordered four so far. A little goes a long way. Not too thick or thin, just right for my liking. Dries reasonably fast with a uv lamp and lasts for a nice while, too. The polish can feel a little sticky but it's very easy to clean up. Not a big deal at all. If I had to nitpick at anything it would be the magnet that comes with it. It's not very easy to handle or control. I get much better results using a different wand from another gel polish set I purchased. I'm very pleased overall and highly recommend these. It takes a little while to get the technique down, which I'm still working on, but I absolutely love these.

I gave this 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 because the color absolutely does NOT match the image. I got the 'purple brown' but instead of the light purple-ish color with a golden brown holographic hue, it was more just a dark brown with a gold hue - NO purple in sight. And this was whether it was 1 layer or 3 - it was just a dark brown overall. It was still a pretty color, and it lasted for a decent amount of time (some chipping still happened even with thorough nail prep beforehand), but if you're selecting because you want a color match to the picture, be warned. It actually ended up looking pretty close to what the brown or dark brown cat eye choice looked like.

Double rhythm polish is amazing! The colors are beautiful, easy to use and lasts without chipping or peeling. No more nail salons for me !

Color - Golden Violet-MC1129 I love this color! I didn’t put a solid color as the base as some do. With two coats there is minimal transparency. It doesn’t bother me but it may bother some. It’s hard to see honestly. Three coats will most likely take care of that! I did add a builder gel and then a top coat. I hand wash dishes… work out.. wash my hands of course lol, so chipping has not happened me with me! I did use the magnet it came with. I will definitely be ordering more colors from this brand!
