Would this be good for printmaking?

I was somewhat disappointed with this paper. Several pieces had been “patched” because of holes or tears. But since I used it primarily for practicing Asian pen and ink calligraphy and drawing, it was tolerable. While I love the natural color of the paper, I won’t purchase it, again.

Is this paper sustainable or biodegradable? Is it made only from bamboo?

Hello, I checked on the package and there are no information about that. But, when I touch the paper, it seems to me that it is made only from bamboo. I am sure that they are biodegradable. They are very thin. I didn't try yet to paint ink calligraphy on it. But as they are very thin, I belive that I will have to use a fast one stroke calligraphy style. If you use a traditionnal style, the ink can spread at every place you do a pause unless you use very little ink on your brush. Note that this calligraphy paper is as brown as a paper bag.
