Skeptical about the slip being 100% cotton

I purchased this slip because like others being sold, it claims to be made of 100% cotton. Unlike other sellers, this brand looked like cotton material in the picture. However, upon receiving the slip, it looks and feels like polyester. I specifically bought it as the description boasts that the slip is breathable and sweat wicking and I’ll be in tropical heat. I will update my review after testing the slip to see if it withstands the hot and humid climate I’ll be traveling to.
