Used this to monitor a leak in the roof of my house. Tested by putting sensor in a few millilitres of water and the unit screeched very loudly! Would definitely be heard elsewhere in the house from the loft. The sensor was taped into a low point inside a bucket under the (hopefully fixed) leak in the roof. If any water started to fill the bucket it will notify me. It's behaving well so far, and the only concern is how long that battery will last. Be sure to check it once in a while as there is a test button on the side (similar to what you should be doing with your smoke alarms). The second one I purchased has just been slid under the washing machine which has leaked a couple of times in the past. Excellent value for the peace of mind this brings.

Easy to set up and works well. The only slight issue was inserting and positioning the battery correctly as it's a much cheaper and less precise housig tan usually used for the battery type. Having said that, a rechargeable battery was supplied, making it better value than expected.

No warning from enviroment agency in the middle of the night river broke it's banks. Only got alerted in time to move things to higher ground. Fitted this device in a low lying shed. Loud enough to hear in the house for an early warning. Helps my partner sleep knowing this. Time will tell if it will work when needed. There is a test button. But every few weeks i test it by putting a damp finger on the sensor. It sounds loudly, and stops as soon as i take my finger off.

Its a bit too sensitive really. It reacts to even a slight splash and is ear-splitting! Needs to be switched on just before starting to fill the sink and off after you turn the taps off else false alarms are likely.

So I correctly set up the alarm to warn me that my RODI system has filled my 60ltr barrel except when I checked on its progress it was full the probe was completely submerged & no alarm was sounding. It was a good job I didn’t fully trust the device otherwise I’d have a huge mess to clean up. Not worth buying as it’s unreliable

Funciona perfectamente, es muy sensible y la alarma es bastante potente. A mi me ha venido de maravilla para llenar el depósito de agua de la camper si preocuparme de si desborda.

was mir an dem Sensor gefiel einfache Montage und man kann auch den Sensor anschrauben an der Wand... Verarbeitung wirkt einfach aber er erfüllt seinen Zweck. zu dem Preis alles gut. Die Batterie ist wechselbar und im Lieferumfang ist eine mit dabei. Wie lange diese Batterie hält kann ich bis dato nicht sagen, aber solche Geräte sollte man eh im Blick haben.
