Pleased with my purchase
Love the size and look on my truck. Needed to replace my old shorty antenna because it would not stay tightly threaded. Signal strength is good but loses signal inside the parking garage at work. I haven't gone on a long trip to see how well it does. I would recommend it.

Nothing but Junk
Absolute Junk. Replaced original because it was getting beaten up at the car wash. Installed the MAXRACING antenna and got no reception whatsoever... Replaced the new with the old and the reception is just fine. Great job china, Thanks for wasting my time...

Easy install. Great results for the price.
Make sure you clean up the top of the strut threads before trying to remove the nut.. Ended up using vise grips and a rag to hold the strut. Otherwise easyinstall. Driver side back strut nut can be accesed through the engine bay on the 2.5. Cant wait to put some bigger tires on!

Good quality
I purchased this stubby 4 in antenna to replace a “cheaper” 8 in antenna that did not last. The soft brass threads eventually stripped out because it did fit my 2018 F150 quite right from the start. This kit comes with stainless steel thread inserts, much better quality out of the box. I chose a shorter one this time because it does not block my view on the right side . I mostly listen to satellite radio , but when I listen to local radio stations I did not notice a decrease in reception. P.S. — It holds up very well through car washes , not like the other.
