I am 4'10"/185 llb. In its natural state, it was a cute, figure(?)-skimming, above-the-knee dress. I don't wear short dresses, so I easily removed the 9" bottom piece (shows clearly if you scan/enlarge the product picture) and hemmed the resulting t-shirt. (I hemmed the left-over piece all the way around to make a versatile matching scarf to go with it or other things.I am an 81 year old experienced seamstress. (Not necessary for the alterations. That was all done by hand.!) The fabric appears to me to be a 90% cotton, 10% polyester/spandex blend. It feels like a typical printed t-shirt and is softer after washing. It washes just fine with regular laundry. I have machine-dried it (gentle/low) and hang-dried it. With the dryer, no ironing. Hang-dry, light touch up. The fabric doesn't shrink and the colors don't fade or run. The "yellow" I ordered is true to the product picture: a medium beige.This is a really nice shirt. And, it has a pocket! It's not too "cutesy" and pairs well with pants of any length, leggings, and longer skirts. I get lots of compliments on this shirt alk the time. Fits perfectly losses the way I want and its longer thanmso!e of these short shirts. Nice comfy material can wear in any weather really. The cats are adorable and the shirt looks the same wish they made it in black. The white one is a bit tan not white so be warned. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Very cute, very square *by S***N on September 6, 2023* This thing is bizarre. Laying it out flat, it's basically a square, so if you're hoping for a tunic dress, this probably won't work unless you are a little teapot, short and stout. The pockets are pretty poorly sewn, and tugged on the fabric, creating a hole despite not using them at all. The weird bib section on the bottom also sticks out poorly, and the print of the fabric doesn't line up with that part at all.That all being said:I wore this under a suspender dress and the oversized nature of the thing, while it was a little awkward to tuck into the dress, actually made it really comfy, even if the fabric isn't too soft. I got so many compliments on my outfit that I couldn't even consider returning it.
