Lovely canisters for all kitchen storage.

I have decided to replace my 45 year old (probably toxic) food storage containers with something safer. I didn’t just rush into the choice I made. I’m not good at making decisions. After literally a month of comparing glass vs stainless and all the different types of containers and lids I finally decided to purchase this brand. The seal is great. The canisters are not too thin but they are not heavy when filled. There was a lot of residual polish on the interiors of the canisters but that washed right off with a little soap and water. It’s not like I would have used them prior to washing anyway. I’m very happy with this set. So much so that I have ordered another identical set as well as several other canisters in different sizes made by this company.

I love these canisters. I use them for dog treats. I store chew sticks, training treats, and other dog yummies in them. The tops are clear so I can see what’s in them. I ordered another set for tea bags, alphabet noodles, and other small packages of things I want kept air tight. These are not huge - don’t buy them unless you can read the dimensions and understand them.

These canisters look great, open and close easily and I really love the clear tops so you can remember what is in what! But, the only reason I give this four stars is the rubber seal/gasket on the lid itself. Over a short time, this gasket becomes detached, flops around and keeps the lid from closing with a tight seal. After this happened with three of the canisters (I bought two sets), I simply took the gaskets off of all the lids, put a bead of super glue down in the rim, and replaced the seals. Problem solved...haven't had a failure since. Maybe you won't have a problem, but if you do it is easily solved.

Purchased these for our Lakehouse. They are a little smaller than a full size set - but ideal if not needing large containers. They are very well made and a great price-point.

This is great for any kitchen to keep items, pretty much airtight and free from normal air around.
