I used this set along with Beetles gel polish set (it contained gel colors, gel base, gel glossy top coat, gel matte top coat). My first time using the dehydrator and primer, I did not apply enough primer to my entire nail and the gel polish came off right after I cured the nails LOL!!! This time, I covered the whole mail with the dehydrator and then took my time in applying the primer to the entire nail and the polish did not peel! Tip- pay close attention to the edges of your nail to prevent the polish from peeling. I showed my nails because I am growing them out. The polish helped to make them a little stronger (surprisingly) but I also had strong nails before. I got really excited when my nails began to look like I needed a fill at the nail salon. Meant my nails were growing and the gel polish stayed intact. I started taking collagen peptides and I believe they’ve sped up the growth of my nails. For the past two years, they kept breaking because I wasn’t maintaining them. Even though I was getting dip sets at the nail salon and my natural nails were long, they kept breaking off because I’d wait too long to get them done again. Now, I am committed to maintaining my own nails. I followed these steps: used a 48W UV lamp (I regret not buying a stronger lamp). 1) made sure my nails were clean and filed. 2) Applied a think layer of dehydrator which dried instantly. 3) Applied a thin layer of primer and allowed it to air dry. It dried within 60 seconds. Pay close attention to the edges of the nail and be sure to apply the primer. Don’t leave any part of your mail uncovered. 4). Apply a thin layer of the gel polish base coat and cure under UV lamp for 90 seconds. 5) applied a second thin layer of gel polish color and cure under UV lamp for 60 seconds. 6) apple a second thin layer and cure for 90 seconds. 7) apply gel top coat and cure for 90-120 seconds. Hope this review helps. I am new to gel polish and was completely against paying the nail techs to charge me extra for gel polish on my toes. Now, I’m doing them myself and I cannot believe how beautiful they turn out and how cost effective and stylish they are.

Honestly, I can't do my nails without this. You do have to make sure it's closed well, cuz the primer will spill and get sticky to hold. Other than that, it does the job great.

I was honestly about to give up on my DIY gel nails until I found this dehydrator and primer set! Amazing product, gel nail polish off in 2 minutes, both hands. I sanded polish off of my acrylic nails and used it and my hole hand came off in 5 minutes. No nail bed damage.

I do my own gel nails at home. They have always just peeled off every few days. I finally found these and it’s been a week and a half now and no lifting. I’m in shock. Worth every penny and more! Very happy!

I bought these in combination to a Polygel kit I got because I read online these are the steps that professionals take to ensure a secure nail. They were right! The dehydrator allowed the Bonder (has slight smell, not bad by any means though. Compared to others) to adhere to the nail stronger. Then you simply go about applying the rest of whichever gel you want to build your extension. I tested with these and without these additional prep steps. And it was day and night for results! With/ my nails lasted up to 3 weeks! Without/ my nails lasted a little over a week. I will Forevermore apply my gel nails this way.
