Just what I needed
Attaches to my Canon AE-1 and AE-1 Program perfectly. It has a lock to hold the shutter open or just a manual setting (hold and release, dead man switch). It pushes easily no matter how bent the cord is. Nice construction. Great deal.

Broken after minimal use
After little over a month using it on weekends only the top part came loose from cable, pin no longer extrudes from other end. Return window closed two weeks prior. Extremely dissatisfied.

Very Responsible handling of my problem with the product.
Does not work. When attached to the camera does not depress the shutter release.The above criticism was due to my lack of knowledge about the workings of the product. The seller went out of their way to help me quickly to understand the product. They were polite and very responsive sending me detailed instructions. I can recommend them for this product without reservation.Thank you.

Piece of junk
This cable is a piece of junk! The little end piece came unscrewed the first day and I lost it! I don't understand the point of having that end piece screw off ? Do not buy!!

Complete waste of money
The quality on this item is terrible. Save yourself time and money and order a different one. The threads on this thing are so soft it's basically made out of butter.

Took a chance and it paid off.
The product worked as described. Can also lock if ur taking pictures in bulb mode and need a longer shutter speed.
